May 30, 2026 Folk…read moreArt Abounds at Stitchin' Heaven. I blame my Wife for this encounter. She is the cause of all this awestruckness visited upon me that fateful final May Saturday. It was a three and a half hour drive for us to get there from our house near The Woodlands. The Greater Piney Woods of East Central Texas between Huntsville and Tyler were a sight to behold and to this day, make me happy to be a Native Texan. Small towns, like Quitman, hide gems within their city limits. Stitchin' Heaven is one such place. Hitting the parking lot, you realize tuis is much more than a quilt shop. It is a quilters destination, a cloth clubhouse for anyone wanting to stitch up folk art. They have classes and retreats for those that desire to learn this ancient art of making bed coverings. We spent about an hour inside ... the Wife browsing, I, just gawking at the displays of true hand made beauty. Fantasy Quilts, Traditional ones, special themed ones all were draped along the walls to stare at and wonder. Wonder how someone could dedicate so much time and effort to achieve this work of love and art. I came out of there with a new appreciation of what thread, needles and a good set of shears can do to a bolt of cloth. If you are ever up there, stop by and just see the hanging quilts. If you like to quilt or would like to learn, check out their website stitchinheaven.com to see what they offer for classes and supplies. You might even get a selfie with their painted cattle statue near the door. My Wife wants to do the retreat ... I may just pay for her to do that, while I ride the local roads and take in what East Texas has to offer scenery wise. Ciao, Darrell

I want to state that my original issue was with JustFlowers.com regarding a Mother's Day (May10)…read moreorder that was never delivered on time. The flowers were ordered in advance for Mother's Day delivery, but after the holiday passed, I was told the arrangement had already been delivered -- even though I work from home and never received anything. On Saturday May 16, after being contacted by Sweet Impressions regarding a delayed delivery, I spoke with the owner and found the interaction very frustrating. I repeatedly explained that my concern was with JustFlowers and not with their shop personally, but the conversation became argumentative and defensive instead of helpful. As a customer already dealing with a failed holiday order, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy and professionalism during the call. I understand florists are overwhelmed during major holidays, but the overall experience left me even more frustrated with the situation.

Not sure what anyone could say this isn't positive. I think they are awesome. I called today and the associate helped me with everything I needed right from the phone. Great customer service and excellent communication. Then and if you are creating a BOM, you have to know what you are doing so complaints flummox me. It's independent AND they have a phone to call, FB to ask, and go to YouTube too. Then, looking for BOMs to do, they have the most interesting. The value is good and on par with other BOM onliners. I just think theirs are better, not old lady stuff (BTW I am an old lady). If you could choose any online, this is the one to choose. Thanks Sitchin' Heaven.

Emailed numerous times and finally after 5 months got a return email saying they didn't know I was having a problem. Would be willing to return money for block paid for but not received if I would give them my credit card number. I didn't want to do that at this point. I just don't trust them. They gave me a coupon for a discount but coupon was dated to expire day before I got it, so no use to me. Have not received money back from block I was charged for but didn't receive, They could send a check but haven't. Will not deal with them ever again. This project was over 100.00 per month so I have over 200.00 init now and am extremely unhappy.
