I was warmly greeted at the door by a gentleman who explained it was hard for local farmers to produce certified organic foods, but that is what they are trying to bring to this area of Omaha. You can easily pass it up on Radial Hwy, since the sign s pretty small, but it is on the SE corner of 48th and Radial Hwy. Parking out front is dangerous along the Hwy, but I did see a lot in the back which I presume you can park. I hope they do well in this location.

We went at the start of their season, and were blown away by the activities and attractions here for the kids. Train rides, peddle carts, haunted houses, corn maze, daily shows and more! Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the front gate all throughout the park. On top of that, the food selections were excellent! BBQ station, burgers, chicken fingers, among many others. We arrived and the crew was leaving, and said they closed at 6. The staff were friendly and told us where we could head for food. We picked Barry's as the website showed a burger basket with fries. We arrived and ordered and there were no fires or even toppings (besides ketchup and mustard) for the burger. The funnel cakes were amazing, as always. I would recommend this place, as it is neat! But, maybe just eat supper before arriving if you want a quality meal. The attractions this year were ever changing and evolving as always, the night time frights don't disappoint!

Kimmel is obviously a lot smaller than Arbor Day Farm, but you wouldn't know it from the amount of products they have in their little shop, with a huge majority made of their apples. We tried some of their apple cider, of course, and it was divine. So smooth and with absolutely zero acidic "bite" you can sometimes get with apple products full of added sugar. I wish I had bought a few more bottles of it, instead of just the one that we shared on the way back to Omaha! The ambiance of the shop, even though it's pretty bustling at that time of year, is still very warm, welcoming and homy feeling. You can peruse the little "aisles" forever and still find something new you didn't know they made there at Kimmel. When we finally left, we had chosen apple butter, apple cider, cinnamon apple sauce, apple doughnuts, apple butter syrup, and ranch dressing (no apple in that! Haha) If you're headed to Nebraska City (during the AppleJack Festival or any other time), definitely stop by Kimmel Orchard - you will not be disappointed!

Also this is one of the few aldis with self checkouts! The service was great, I had a bottle of wine I forgot about and the attendant was quick to run over to the self checkout and get me on my way! This is definitely the best Aldi in Omaha!

I looked at prices of other items, and if I'm not stuck on a brand, it's a great place to save money. I've been to three locations and they are all clean. The cashiers are amazingly efficient, like an efficiency expert taught them exactly how to move to get the job done. A cashier checked out 24 cans of cat food and 5 other items way faster than I could, which means lines go very fast. The stores are smaller, so they don't have everything. A sign on the freezer section had veggie burgers on sale, but I didn't see any. No matter, if I need cat food, I'll buy other staples there at the same time. I compared item for item with my usual store and saved $20 going to Aldi.

From trails, to tree tops, exploring the lodge, the hazelnut fields, and even the water park There is so much to do and see, bonus: smell. Overall, the site seemed to be clean and well-maintained.
