Always with a smile, always with a view to actually helping you. The people are knowledgeable and will even point you toward cheaper alternatives that will do the job you have in hand just as well as the product you initially came in for. Therein lies the best part of interacting with the staff here: they want to understand the job you are doing first, and then they will sort you out with the right product. I've bought a range of fence panels, treated wood for external construction, screws and bolts of different types and even had these delivered to my home address. Great quality and service from my arrival to product delivery. I happily travel that little extra distance to go here and get my stuff.

I contacted the Watford branch by both phone and email, clearly explaining the situation. I specifically asked to be told if delivery was not possible, so I could order elsewhere in time. I was assured that the delivery would be made on the morning of 2 January. Based on that guarantee, I trusted them, organised labour, and planned the works accordingly. By 13:00, it became clear that no delivery was coming. After calling and emailing again, I was then told that delivery would only be possible on Monday, 5 January This caused not only a financial loss due to wasted labour and delays, but also damaged my professional credibility with my client which is far more difficult to recover. Mistakes can happen, but what is frustrating is being given a firm assurance when it clearly could not be met.
