So I fix the timings and give him a call in that time which is almost half a day after my first call. Second time, I call him up on the prescheduled time and ask him about the possible itineries, he seem to be reluctant and tells me to call him up again later. I had provided him with my numbers. I decided NOT to call him up again, because it's me who is bringing him the business and he didn't seem to be professional enough to respond to his customers. He, inspite of having my number never called me up, it has been more than 24 hrs after my last communication. For me, if this is the attitude of a travel agent, it's not recommended to have such an agent.

Now, I've already completed some pricing quotes using my mobile app and have two comparisons if I booked the trip myself. Somehow, I want a third quote just to settle the doubting Thomas in me. I was happily greeted by Shane H upon entering this place during my lunch break. He listened to my request, asked some questions, took my contact info and handed me a business card since I had to get back to work. Later in the day, Shane called me and asked if I was willing to have 2 stopovers during the flight back in order to get a better price. Oh no...Twenty-five hours to come back home was not an option! Anyhow, I now have a first draft itinerary & price emailed to me about 5 hours after dropping into the Flight Centre. He had made great effort to put everything on line. In Melbourne, the coach bus didn't present in the right time and 42 of us were forced to stay outside the pier for more than an hour. Alan finally arranged taxies to take all of us to the city. When we arrived Rotorua, the land operator didn't get the tickets for Hobbiton which was on the list to visit when we booked the tour many months ago. It really upset almost the whole group. Alan showed his patience to pacify the angry tourists and arranged to the money return. Also he took us to the Blue Spring which was another movie site of Lord of the Rings.
