We brought our dog to K9 Resort and she contracted kennel cough, which quickly progressed to…read morepneumonia. We have now spent over two thousand dollars in emergency veterinary care and the situation has been stressful and heartbreaking. At no point were we informed of any kennel cough exposure at the facility. We had another stay booked at one hundred nine dollars per night for a weekend trip. Given that our dog is now sick and contagious, we simply requested a refund. The initial response was a flat refusal, even after everything we had been through. The lack of empathy was shocking. Only after pushing back did the manager call to say they would issue the refund, but then told us this would be "the end of our relationship." In other words, we were banned for expecting basic decency. This was an awful customer experience from start to finish. No compassion, no accountability, and prices that do not match the level of care. I would never recommend this facility to any pet owner. Our dog deserved better and so did we.
