They also found i needed new flange at additional $514.02 cost. I called Ward Plumbing and was given an appointment a few days later. Given that I believed the water heater was the culprit, I told the scheduler what size and capacity water heater I had. The service teach came out and checked the water heater and said it was actually fine but there was a pipe that had metal fittings that was leaking. Either way the water heater was going to need to be removed to repair the pipe and given the age of our unit, I opted to have it replaced with a unit they brought out with them. They cut out the soaked drywall that needed to be replaced and made an appointment for replacing it two weeks later. I did have a cancelled appointment due to the service tech having vehicle trouble when he was coming back to replace the drywall, but I was notified and the appointment was rescheduled for 3 days later. I have found this company to be professional and competent and given the rural area I live in, I value someone competent showing up and doing quality work at my residence. While they might not be the cheapest option for plumbers, I have confidence in the work and their warranty behind said work.
