March 6th and still don't even know if the parts showed up. Don't understand the reviews. So far they are terrible. Today is March 7 still have no idea thank you. No update as expected. Called their shop. Parts only arrived today I was told. Different than what I was to when I called them last time which was parts where there Thursday . Lied then or now? More over they just don't care. Only communication from Phil's in two weeks. On March 4th. "Hey Daniel, this XXX over at Phil collision center. Just wanna give you an update on your BMW. It's Still waiting on the doors . I called this morning . They said they were out for delivery . I still not seen them but As I do We will get started on that for you and I will also give you a call as soon as Do you have any questions? 3 5 2- 7 8 7- 1 3 0 8..." March 15th. Close to a month now my car has been in this shop. Unbelievable. I was in fact called on March 13th to inform me they were painting the doors. Oh my! I asked specifically to let me know if it would be ready Friday and to please let me know. Of course I've heard nothing from them today. Painful to do do business with. Shop called at 2:49 and said the car could be picked up at 4:00. Then they tell me have to have cashiers check to pick it up. Just a pain to do business with. STAY AWAY My advice. Haven't even seen the car yet. 3/19/24 - Went to pick up car. Polishing compound around the windows clearly visible. Spot on right rear qtr panel un-repaired. What a pain. No communication and poor work. 3/21/24 - Waiting on them to let me know when it's actually ready. Looks like another week waiting on them to finish. Over a month! Keep that in mind! 4/1/24 - poor job on car. Shop not cooperative in fixing their own issues. Manger using profanity because he has no leg to stand on for the poor work and worse communication.

As suggested by Brian, I had ceramic tint installed and it works fabulously. It is not a dark tint but it reduces heat in the car by 90+ percent. Totally worth the price to have it installed. Of course left in direct sunlight with no A/C it gets very hot. But cooling and keeping cool in Mid-Florida is a must. We 'thought' we had a leak around the windshield that another location had installed a little while…read moreback. I pulled the ol' Mustang into our local Brooksville Safelite shop for them to check it out. Once in the office I was cheerfully greeted by Danny, I think he's one of the managers there. After a quick description of our problem, he readily offered to have a look at the car. Several other Safelite guys followed us out. Jose was one of those guys. He asked if I'd pop the hood open, which I did. He IMMEDIATELY knew what the problem was! He reached into the engine bay and pulled out a rubber plug on the firewall and about 2 gallons of water came gushing out onto the pavement! He did the same on the driver's side. Having a look at these plugs it became apparent they are actually one-way valves, designed to let the water out but not in. They were completely plugged up with bits of leaves and dirt. With a simple clean-out Jose stuck the plugs back into place. Guess what? On the way home I ran through a huge rainy downpour and NO MORE LEAKS! Jose saved the day, the car's carpet and a whole lot of potential frustration. I hope I never need them but IF I do I know 'Who You Gonna Call?' Safelite! Brooksville! Danny & Jose!

Not only was his price fair, he was very helpful, his work was excellent and he went above and beyond, as I was making my decision on which tint to use, he came out the next time he was in the area and tinted one of my windows so I can see if that is the level of tint we wanted to go. After a week, we made our decision, the sample window tint he did was EXTREAMLY helpful, it removed any regrets later. When he was here, I asked him to do two very small bathroom windows which was not part of the original work order, he did and wasn't even going to charge me. Fair is fair, everybody must make a living, I insisted that I pay him at the square footage cost he quoted on the other windows.
