At the same time, we eliminate the need for large crews conducting dangerous and time consuming labor operations, while inherently damaging area around them. At APEX, we have invested in the most efficient, advanced, and environmentally friendly equipment available. Our specialty machinery does everything we need with just one machine and one operator. A single Land Management package can simultaneously remove harmful vegetation, fell trees, mulch the material into fine shreds, and redeposit it back across the area. It removes invasive plant life that draws too much water, allowing the forest and other plants to get more moisture and draw more nutrients. Our machine's rubber tracks reduce Maneuver Damage to almost nothing. Our machines also remove stumps and stems at the same time as they remove the unwanted plants. The mulching process deliberately destroys invasive plants and harmful insect infestations. By cutting the unwanted vegetation down to ground level without ripping up the roots, we limit erosion and maintain soil integrity. The shredded vegetation we leave behind, re-fertilizes the soil through decomposition and the re-absorption of nutrients back into the earth. The shredded material also helps retain moisture which again stimulates healthy growth, benefits the wildlife habitation, and acts as a natural fire break.

C&C Drywall and Construction - Large bubbles in C&C stucco work has to be cut out and all sides of building had to be re-done from scratch with a new hired contractor

    C&C Drywall and Construction

Summary of Experience with C&C Drywall and Stucco Construction…read moreAn Account of Challenges Faced and Lessons Learned Background We recently hired C&C Drywall and Stucco Construction company to complete the interior drywall and exterior stucco work for our new detached garage shop next to our newly purchased home. The project was intended to enhance both the functionality and appearance of our property. Project Execution * Drywall Phase: C&C subcontracted the drywall installation to other professionals, who performed the work to a satisfactory standard. C&C was paid in full for both labor and materials related to this Bid and phase. * Stucco Phase: The second Bid and phase involved C&C applying stucco to the exterior surfaces. Unfortunately, the quality of their work was significantly below expectations, prompting us to halt the project and request a review and explanation from C&C for corrections. Assessment and Further Action * We invited other experienced stucco contractors to evaluate the situation. Their consensus was that the stucco work needed to be completely redone from scratch due to its poor quality. * We communicated our concerns and the evaluations to C&C, both verbally and through written correspondence, outlining the specific problems and recommendations for correction. Regrettably, we received no response or interest from our meeting and written correspondence given to C&C Construction for corrective actions. * To address the issues, we engaged a highly reputable second stucco contractor, who rectified the mistakes and delivered the quality of work we originally expected. Unresolved Financial Issues Subsequent to the completion of our repairs, we received notice from Outwest Drywall Supply--the supplier from which C&C purchased materials--that they had not been paid for both the drywall and stucco products used on our project, despite C&C having been paid in full for complete drywall labor and materials along with half for stucco materials. Outwest Drywall Supply has retained legal counsel and has threatened to file a lien against our home due to this unpaid debt which is C&C drywall and stucco company responsible having received payment. Legal Action Given the threat of a lien and the unresolved financial obligations, we have retained legal counsel to protect our interests and respond to the claims from the material supplier and to C&C drywall and stucco construction company. Advice to Others We strongly caution homeowners and contractors to perform due diligence when hiring construction companies like C&C Drywall and Stucco. Our experience with C&C Drywall and Stucco Construction has resulted in significant stress, additional expenses, along with legal complications. As seniors, we feel that we were taken advantage of and are now left to manage the consequences of hiring an unreliable contractor. Please be vigilant and learn from our experience--ensure your contractors are reputable, responsive, and trustworthy before entrusting them with your home improvement projects. It's my opinion DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
