I want serious layers, ask for them and then they start 2 inches from the bottom. My layered haircut came out looking cut straight across. I had to go home and restyle my hair and cut some of it myself. I applaud these two ladies for making their salon and business dreams into reality but I would definitely pay more for a really good and thoughtful style. I need edgy cuts with good styling at the end. The owners have great style but don't pass it on to the clients. Plus the name really bugs. What are we transitioning into? Are we embracing gender fluidity or are we just getting old? It makes no sense.

After finding the small, nondescript storefront I walked in at 2:35 and was greeted by a surly man who said "are you the 2:30?" I nodded. He responded. "Next time try to be here on time!" Oh honey, there won't be a next time. I looked around the perfectly empty store and wondered why those five minutes were so important to him and promptly walked out. I can see why he has so many negative reviews. I walked over to Lucky's and spent the next 2 hours being pampered and walked away looking gloriously beautiful. Gave them a fat tip for a job well done and in honour of the surly asshole at Pretty Nails. Lucky's thanks you. Made two more appointments too.
