I recently brought my one year old to get her first dental check up. She loved the office and staff! We felt very welcomed and taken care of. When Dr. Ryan retired and Dr. Ryan's son took over but left a few short years later is when I met Dr. Sohi -- I've been at the EL Dorado location for years!! Dr. Sohi is not only excellent at what she does, but also is compassionate & cares about her patients, of course there's always those few "bad apples" that is out of her control. If you go here make sure you get all tx in writing including when they tell you "don't worry we will take care of it next time"! I had some work done and didn't turn out to my expectations! Approached dentist she didn't want deal with it! So she sends her dental hygienist over to talk to me and pretty much blew me over! The work was not completed!!! Walked out an unhappy patient! This place is like DisneyLand to me! The staff are genuine and really, really nice. The back staff + Dentist are informative when it comes to dentistry and they give wonderful tips on how to maintain a beautiful smile. Not only do they help you maintain that bright white smile, they also get to know their patients one by one. I live in San Francisco and I purposely drive 80+ miles to come see Dr. Sohi-Thadwal & her staff. If you're scared about the "noises" be sure to bring some earphones and it's an extra bonuses that some of their chairs are massaging chairs too! Private facility is the way to go, and I def. recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good trip to the dentist vs. a bad trip with possible long wait time in the lobby & treatment area. They are not the office that cares about numbers$$ and the number of patients they see. Rather than the care of their patients. It's def. the small things that count. read more

False advertisement, she is not a Periodontist, Orthodontist, nor does she do great cosmetic, and especially DOES NOT DO DENTURES.

I have been a client of Miss Sohi since she took over the practice from Dr Ryan, so this is not a one and done review. I had been going to her for YEARS. Miss Sohi is fine to do general dental work - cleaning and fillings. Had I not chosen to use her add-on service of Invisalign, I would probably still be a client. Her assistant is not trained properly, doesn't care, or she is lazy. I have had to return to have Sohi fix what her assistant messed up a couple of times. This includes crowns with dental glue or something on my teeth that makes it feel rough and required to be smoothed out. I had a few bottom teeth that had shifted and gone a bit crooked that I wanted to straighten out to properly clean them. I told Sohi about it and she suggested Invisalign a few times. She told me it would be better because I can take the trays out and properly clean my teeth. I told her I had braces when I was a kid and I don't mind wearing them on the bottom teeth again. I even mentioned I'd buy a waterpik to help keep my teeth clean. She still suggested Invisalign probably because she sells it and makes money. A referral to an orthodontist wouldn't give her anything. I decided to do Invisalign. I asked several times why I needed top trays as my teeth were straight, because I have a bridge. She said it was part of the plan. She lied to me telling me she was polishing my teeth to ready for the cement, but she actually shaved my teeth, creating spaces at my gum line between my lower teeth. I wore the Invisalign trays as prescribed. At the end of my 11 prescribed trays, my bottom teeth were far from being straight. Another mold was taken and I received a few more bottom trays to wear. During my appointment at the end of my last tray, I told Sohi that my bite was off (my lower front teeth were hitting my bridge) and my bottom teeth were not completely straight. She made a flippant remark that she could shave the back of my bridge to correct my bite and that my teeth were straight at the gum line. She conveniently forgot why I went with the Invisalign treatment in the first place - to straighten my teeth to clean them better! My bite has never been this off nor have my bottom teeth ever hit my bridge. She was just done with me. I wouldn't let her touch my 40-year-old bridge in fear that she might mess it up worse, so her assistant made a feeble attempt to remove the buttons and left most of the glue on my teeth which makes them feel fuzzy and dirty all of the time. Sohi did not make any offers to help get my bite and get all of my bottom teeth straight. She said nothing to me. Less than a week after my final appointment with Sohi, I unknowingly had a consult with the orthodontist she gives a lot of referrals to. The Orthodontist sent me to a periodontist because he mis read the Xray thinking I had bone loss. The orthodontist did recommend braces (after my perio consult approved braces) on my lowers to correct the bite and straighten the teeth properly. I called Sohi's office after that appointment and told the office staff what transpired at my Orthodontist appointment. They didn't really care and offered me nothing, a client that has been with her practice since the beginning. Sohi office staff called back after a few days (and after my ortho consult) to tell me that Sohi told her to tell me that she recommended Invisalign because of my bone loss. Sohi never once spoke to me about any bone loss or any concern of that nature. I assume the blather she had her staff repeat to me actually came from Dr Samra. Again, no apologies and no offer to help fix my bite issue. They spoke condescendingly to me as if I was a child. Apparently Sohi missed the day she was supposed to take her Hippocratic oath. She is not professional and she had absolutely no concern once Invisalign said my treatment is done. She has no moral compass or compassion to help her clients. She should change her business name to "All about Money" because she could care less about my smile and the damage that is being done with an incorrect bite due to Invisalign and her own negligence. She drained my insurance for orthodontic care and almost 2K out of my own money. Now I have to pay out of pocket for braces - what I should have done rather than trusting a regular dentist to do orthodontics. read more

The staff here are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The moment you walk in the office your greeted with a big smile from the women at the front desk. Dr.Sohi is very friendly, personable and most importantly professional. She always take care of my needs while making me feel so comfortable and at ease!! read more

Dentist is extremely sweet and great but there is one Indian dental hygienist there that is lazy which hurt my experience there.

I've been a happy patient for years and always leave with a smile! Front and back office the staff is great. Dr. Soho is gentle while getting the job done. She is very knowledgeable and moral, "which is rare these days." I've been a regular at the Stockton office but now that the Modesto office opened up I've been visiting there. Had a great experience here. No wait time. Very friendly and courteous staff. Most dentist office employees are very judge mental, rude and abrasive. Not this dentist's office. Genuine care and advice are the most important things in customer service and they displayed it very well. Dr. Thadwal and her assistants are very nice and provided quality work in a short amount of time. Organized front desk and very clean work stations and tools. Dr Sohi purchased her practice from my former dentist so I decided to stay with her. A few years ago I had my metal fillings replaced with white by Dr. Sohi. I had to go in several times to have ridges or chips repaired. Due to a move out of town, I went to a new dentist. When my teeth were x-rayed you could see all the metal that was left behind by Dr. Sohi. I had my 3rd filling replaced today and it had metal and DECAY in it! When I first saw Dr. Sohi I had a gold crown that was only a couple of years old. She stated there was a small cavity starting just below the crown line so I would need a new crown. I told her no, and if the tooth did start to bother me, I would consider replacing the crown at a later date. Her office still sent pre-authorizations to my insurance more than once trying to get the crown replaced after I told her no. After an examination from new dentist, I was told there is nothing wrong with the tooth or the crown. Even though the office is nice, I would not recommend All About Smiles or Dr. Sohi to anyone! I have referred two of my coworkers to my new dentist though and they are very happy! read more
