They painted our dining room, baby's room, master bedroom, and kiddo's closet (plus repairs). They also do exterior painting. We had a few other bids, one was close to theirs, and one was $1K higher (yikes, plus that company went dark on responding), and felt like theirs was perfectly fair and in line with what we expected. The husband and wife team came out and surveyed the rooms, got our samples so they could color match with high quality Sherwin Williams paint. I had to nail them down on a start date, but turns out they were on a family spring break (so were we) which totally makes sense. They were able to start within two weeks of quoting, and finished the project in two days. I appreciated that the same husband and wife team were doing the work with the crew, not just passing them off which happened to us before and didn't go well. Most importantly, beyond price and timing, the painting looks great! Very professional without paint drips. They even moved and reassembled the large hutch to the wall and put everything back in areas where paint had sufficiently dried. TL;DR; Quality painting, good communication, fair price point, effective process. They'll be our painters moving forward. (I didn't see a website out there, but calling or texting them is how we got in touch!)

I contacted Jorge via Yelp on the 16th of the month. He replied after awhile and said he would be happy to come out. I called him on the 18th. He came late in the day, a bit later than he stated, but did arrive. We talked about the project and I showed him what was needed. He said he would email me a quote. On the 21st I texted him asking about the quote. He said he would send it that night that he "promised". It is now the 26th. No emails or texts or calls. If he doesnt want to do the job, that's more than okay, just tell me. That's honesty I can respect. But when you say you'll so something, and you have to say "I promise" and you don't do that thing? That's an issue to me. I'll be moving on.

Longer Review - When discussing the job, Neighborhood Painting seemed like a great fit. Michael came and spoke about the process when taking measurements. He seemed friendly, knowledgable, and kind. I chose to go with them over other bids (even though this was the most expensive bid) because it seemed like we would be able to work well together. Heck, even when the paint job was going, it was pretty smooth. The team didn't speak stellar english but we were able to get by. Their little kiddo was fun to have around as well. This is the only reason I am giving this a 2 star instead of a 1 star. When we got to the step detailed in the contract "NP Team to REVIEW and Walk Around with homeowner to ensure job is complete and approved before leaving" we were told they would not paint the rear trim to match the trim color provided. Given that the contract did not in any way state that the trim color would be ignored in the back, we discussed with Michael and he flat out refused to correct the issue. I even offered to just take a minor discount for the job and do the work myself and he said the only way for us to get what we had originally agreed to, was to pay more money. Now, we aren't in a position to fight this so we'll just eat the costs somewhere down the road but Michael's unprofessionalism once the job started is abhorrent. Please learn from my mistake (or be prepared to spend the time fighting for the contract to be properly honored).

We had them complete a repair on our vaulted ceilings, fix settling cracks, as well as fixing some previous water damage. All of which were completed perfectly. My biggest positive to this company is how fast they were willing to work with me, they were out in a timely manner to provide measurements, gave us a bid/quote, and scheduled us remarkably fast! I also realize it is a slow exterior season but I couldn't believe how efficient they were! Caleb was also very forward with his communication and providing frequent updates as to where the project stood so I was never caught off guard by any unexpected timeline shifts.
