Over the years, I have attended regular classes, completed Teacher Training, and traveled with the RYK community to both India and Bali. These experiences have given me the opportunity to experience the teachings not only in the classroom but also in daily life and in different parts of the world. One of the things I appreciate most about RYK is the consistency of support it provides. The regular classes create a structure that helps me stay connected to practices and perspectives that support growth, wellbeing, groundedness, and prosperity in its broader sense. The teachings challenge me appropriately, encouraging me to continue expanding while remaining connected to myself and my values. What has always stood out to me is the authenticity of the space. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and aligned with the values being taught. Whether it is the teachings themselves, the artwork on the walls, the spiritual symbols, thangkas, malas, gemstones, Ayurvedic supplies, sheepskins, clothing sourced from India and Bali, or products from carefully selected American brands, there is a sense of integrity and intention throughout the entire center. Mahadev brings a combination of knowledge, experience, dedication, and humility to his teaching. The community that has formed around RYK has also been an important part of my experience. Over the years, I have met many thoughtful and caring people through this space, and the environment consistently feels welcoming and supportive. After more than six years, I continue to attend classes and remain grateful that RYK is part of my life. In a city known for many things, it has become one of the places that helps me stay connected to what matters most.

Coming here has helped me rediscover my passion for yoga, find my groove again, and reconnect with a part of myself I had missed. My practice has grown so much from learning from all of the amazing instructors. They've helped me improve my flexibility, strength, and form, and I always leave class feeling better both mentally and physically. Somewhere along the way, I also discovered how much I love the reformer and hot bootcamp classes lol. I never expected to enjoy them as much as I do, and having so much variety definitely keeps me excited and motivated to come back. One of my favorite things about the studio is how personal it feels. Everyone knows you by name, the instructors are so encouraging, and you always feel comfortable and welcomed. I also love seeing how much it continues to evolve while still keeping that cozy feel. Between hot yoga, pilates, hot bootcamp, and now the new cadillacs, it's become my go-to place for pretty much everything I enjoy. You can tell how much love the owners put into what they've created, and it shows in the instructors, the staff, the atmosphere, and the community. And despite having a spot in the class, they turned me away for being late as the class was full. As they allowed the wait list to take my spot. Which, ok I should have left earlier, so I let slide. This next time, I was first on the waiting list, and I got in the class. But someone who had scheduled to be in the class, but hadn't shown up on time, arrived 7 minutes late! The class had begun, I had already set up my reformer and started working out, but was told to leave, so this woman who was late could have my spot! This is inconsistent and stupid! Im annoyed! Will never come here again! No idea of the instructors and if the class is actually good, as I wasn't able to get to try a class! UPDATE-REPLY : This was the location in Summerlin Las Vegas, Nevada in village square that has Kinderland a couple doors down and La La photography above it. I was 1 minute late for my workout that I had pre-scheduled and turned away - fair enough. For this next class, I was first on the waitlist and was let in after 5 mins as someone did not show up and started my workout and it got to 7 mins after the class started and someone who had scheduled showed up late and I was kicked out and had to go home, so that they could workout. I just felt like this was a double standard, since I was turned away for being 1 min later after I had scheduled. But this woman was 7 mins late and I got kicked out so that she could workout. Polly was a GREAT instructor! She made all types of bodies feel very comfortable in her class and gave broad modifications for those who had trouble with certain poses or gave options for those who wanted an extra challenge. This was my boyfriend's first yoga class and he felt so welcomed. Polly provided enough instruction that he was able to get into new poses and breathe through the holds. I loved how the class was split with restoration and yin yoga. The restoration part gave us appreciated stretches and holds while the Yin portion made us super melty and eased into Savasana. Plus, Polly provided a beautiful sound bath while in savasana. This was the perfect way to end the work week and have the stress melt off us.

I have MS so I do have to modify some of the practice here and there but I still feel I get a low impact type of work out. I also feel it is very relaxing for the mind. It is quite meditative as well. This creates and overall relaxing type of experience while also being invigorating. They also work with chakra and meridian things. The people who work here are very intuitive and seem to know what you are going through without you even having to explain. They are all very welcoming. It feels almost like a church in a way. Inclusive and spiritual. The different classes are all quite approachable for all levels of ability I would say. I always have a positive experience when I take a class. Highly recommend!

Michael Williams and, I'm assuming his wife, Janice are the only two official TM instructors in Las…read moreVegas. Which is crazy! Why isn't everyone doing this? Because they don't think they should have to pay for a mantra? After The Beatles famous story and hearing Jerry Seinfeld's interviews about it, I decided it was worth spending the money to find out what's really going on. You get what you pay for, right? And, only a small amount of it goes to the instructors. The rest goes to the foundation. I wanted this instruction and knowledge so I paid for it. That was two months ago. Although I haven't felt anything major, no shifts in my life or personality or anything I can put a finger on, I do look forward to my 20 sessions twice a day. I've meditated before but not very successfully. Too much restless legs and my mind running all over the place, I eventually get up frustrated and don't try again until I'm super depressed or anxious and looking for relief. The structure of TM and the way it was instructed stayed with me and I apply it every time I sit down to do it. My mind wanders, but that's ok. You just gently bring it back to your mantra and continue on. It's not about trying to clear or empty your mind. Just being silent and relaxed and repeating the mantra. People report having a lot more energy in their days when they do TM, better sleep, more relaxed. I've noticed a little of that but I'm also in the middle of doing TMS treatment (TM and TMS at the same time? Yeah! I tried doing TM during my TMS treatment. They're both 20 minutes. I only did it once and didn't notice anything. I figured I'll just do them separately for now. The TM isn't exactly calming with a digital woodpecker pecking at your brain.) I'm also doing some Joe Dispenza meditations and have, in general, been working on my mental health, depression and anxiety daily for a little over a year now so when I feel some relief or joy, who knows where it's actually coming from. I'm scheduled for The Hoffman Process in March. Very much looking forward to that! Michael is a sweet, calm, very knowledgeable man and it was fun and informative learning the process from him. He's very generous with his time and has an on-going open door policy for his students. So far, I'm good with where I'm at so I don't have any plans to visit him again any time soon but when I do, I'll look forward to seeing him again. I think the desired outcome of TM is actually transcending and being "gone". I haven't been there yet. Michaeal said it was over a year of doing TM before it happened to him. This, like with all meditation, isn't about achieving some goal or enlightenment but more of something that happens when it happens and the only way it can happen is by meditating so I'll continue. Speaking of which, it's my time for my PM TM. If you're on the fence about TM in Las Vegas, allow me to push you over. Go visit and learn from Michael, or Janice. They're good people and TM is a great community to be involved in!

I have always been intrigued with studying the anatomy of the human body, learning about the importance of the lymphatic system is something that I think everyone should educate themselves with. I am currently in school for massage therapy and I would highly recommend for anyone who has immune problems to try MLD at least once to see how it can help them heal their bodies. Fair warning, you will need to urinate frequently afterwards which is totally normal. It is your body's way of letting you know that it is working. And there are definitely more doorways to get to the different studios, so I was definitely a little lost at first. Tons of lockers and storage areas. The locker rooms are really nice, super clean, and have amenities for getting ready just like the other locations. It looks like the location is supposed to have a café inside... I don't know if that's something that they're adding in later or was previously there, but there is this little area that looks like it's a eating area (I could be wrong.) there's a lot of places to hang out when waiting for class to start. I took a candlelight Yin with Timberly. And to this day, it's still one of my favorite Yin classes that I've ever taken. It was absolutely amazing, I felt like I was floating when I got out of that class. Super relaxing, she is such an amazing instructor and has one of the best energies I've ever had in an instructor ever. She also did a sound bath at the end of class and it was transcending. I absolutely recommend her candlelight Yin Class! You will leave feeling renewed. I really like that the studio is in a separate area where it has its own hallway that's closed off so you're not hearing any of the outside noise. I also really love that Tru Fusion Summerlin does their fitness on the lawn classes. I do those quite frequently and it is a really amazing experience! And they give you a really awesome variety of different types of classes to try out!
