I unexpectedly had to find a new stylist to do my extension services (which I understand is a luxury service and normally cost more than other services) I was booked and scheduled over the phone, Then bombarded with emails and text about signing their salon agreement. They were very persistent about signing this form (your appointment will be canceled if you don't sign ahead of time) and it was a bit of a turn off before ever even getting to the salon. When I sat down at the chair, the stylist and I went over the reinstall process, And she began getting to work. At no point before our appointment or during the consultation was pricing ever discussed. I will take partial responsibility for not asking, but like I said, I am used to paying fairly high prices for my service. When we were almost done with my move up, I finally asked about their pricing and was very shocked To hear that they charge $200 per row to move up extensions. I have been wearing extensions for close to four years and never have I paid prices even close to that. I ended up being charged $400 for a service that took less than two hours to complete. I feel like this salon should have been more transparent with their pricing upfront, especially offering luxury services like they do. The service quality was average and most of the appointment was silent and a little awkward. When she was finished with my move up I wasn't even offered to have my hair styled/ curled Which was a little shocking since that is normally included with a service like this (Especially at this price point). I paid for the service and left a tip for the stylist as she did do a decent job and pricing is not determined by her.. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable, talented, cute, and fun. The space feels very chic, with beautiful floor to ceiling front windows to let in a ton of natural light. The pink/black/white/gold color scheme is professional and way cute. It's impeccably clean. The hair washing stations and the stylist chairs are all plush and very comfortable. Not only are they always on time, but they work very efficiently. I've never once felt rushed as a client here. If you know what you want, they'll make it happen. If you're not quite sure, they'll work with you to get you looking your absolute best. You are always welcome, your requests are taken seriously, and you never feel like a burden at The Bombshell Lounge. I am ALWAYS pleased with my haircut and style at The Bombshell Lounge. Even a simple "ok you're booked" even an "okay" would have been just fine. Hard to get an appointment or word in at this salon without being gawked at for not reading the stylist "posts on social media about her personal life".
