They know their stuff all you need to do is ask. They can tell you all about the advantages of different supplements and products, and tell you when new stuff is coming into stock. You cannot find more friendly people. You can be a complete novice to anything health related and they will help, and find exactly what you need. Yes this place isn't sparkly, and filled with hippy chicks but, those who work here have been running this store since I was kid. They know their stuff so I could care less what the place looks like. I don't go there to be impressed by the decor I go there to get healthy! Over the years they have found many alternatives to prescription medications that were making my mother severely ill. They found things that could potentially help, and did work. They found things in our price range, and have always helped us. The first problem is that clearly there was no market research done for the area. The skin colour and type that culturally dominates the city has very little to offer in terms of tone compliant foundations and powders. I know they have one of the largest libraries of skin match Make up for Asians.....where were these? Not a huge deal but still worthy to bite as an example. I love bold punk rock colours. I am a niche, however, a little more colour in their general pallet would help them stand out more. Thankfully Mac is across the street for all my bold colour needs. I hate shopping. I…read morehate shopping for clothes. I love shopping for clothes at Twist. At first, it seems overwhelming, all those clothes, tightly hung together on the racks, but then I realized what you really go to Twist for...the personal shopper service without the Holt Renfrew pricetag. The gals at Twist are great. They know what they are doing. I go in there, tell them I'm looking for some new clothes to freshen up my work wardrobe. They take a look at me, and immediately know my size. I go into the change room, and they proceed to bring me many different clothes to try on. I always walk out of there, buying way more than I intend too...but I am always so satisfied with the style and quality of the clothing that I get. I always get compliments, I always feel confident wearing clothes from Twist. They have a good selection of shoes too. Oh, and if you're a frequent customer, you can get on their list, and after spending a certain amount over time, they send you are gift certificate to spend in the store. Twist gets a gold medal in customer service!

Even though there were two sales people in the tiny shop neither of them so much as acknowledged my presence the whole time I was there. They manoeuvred around me, passed me, stood near me, all while completely ignoring me. I waited by the till while a staff member wrote up something, hoping for at least "I'll be with you in a moment," but no. She finished what she was doing, turned and walked away. There WERE other customers in the store that they were assisting, but does that preclude a quick smile or hello to a new customer? I had questions about a couple of items and waited patiently. To no avail. I may as well not have been there. I gave up, left and won't return. If you like browsing $200 T-shirts and $400 sweaters while being ignored by staff, Twist is the place for you.
