It's the only vaccine we didn't get and it wasn't necessary. One time I called his office to ask a question. They thought they put me on hold and started making fun of me for asking how much caffeine I can have while nursing. MOST IMPORTANTLY he missed a recommendation to get a specific medical test at 2 months of age from his doctors who delivered him due to an issue he had at birth. He said the recommendation was at one year. I found out he was wrong months later. Lastly his office is sooooo depressing. His ancient metal scales made my baby roll and hit his head. All this doctor did was stress vaccines on us. Otherwise he was useless and SO so rude. I dreaded my baby's appointments because I'd have to see this guy. I'm so happy we left.

He has wonderful bedside manner, came early both days to look at my baby, and answered a lot of my questions. My son is 2 months now and over the last 2 months, I have contacted Dr. Yu with random questions and he would call me or answer my emails within 24 hours. Made me feel at ease with a lot of decision makings. I highly recommend him and his office. Only advice! Please change your door! Lol. His office has a heavy duty door that slams loud every time someone leaves and they aren't holding the door before it shuts. Definitely has scared my son out of sleep when we've gone for appointments

Recently, I experienced a busy office and lack of communication along with little to no follow up. I brought my daughter in for an issue and was asked to leave a urine sample. Not only did the office not follow up to deliver the results, they lost the sample and never called. Getting a return call takes several hours. My observation is that the practice has grown too large and they're too understaffed to properly follow up on your kids health. Standard response is book another appointment.

So she took time to find out from past doctors' notes, according to how I requested Dr.Kellum to read up on those notes. She read through two doctors' notes and was still not finding out. She is intelligent: SO she asked me if I like to tell her. I responded that I did not want to say the reason in front of my beloved son. She then offered to speak to her out side of the patient room. Yep, she got my message and returned to my teenager son to reassure him he's all taken care of and is free to go only allow her to simply listens to his heart and lungs to confirm he is healthy and gave me what I requested. Our appoinment went smoothly and afterwards I revealed to my son for the reason of visit with Dr.Kellum. He agreed he's fine with it, too. So everything is great so far regarding my son's health.
