It truly feels like you're surrounded by people who genuinely love what they do and care about the children they work with. I especially want to recognize Lina and Lacy. They are absolutely wonderful! Lina has given my children their vaccines, and she is so quick and gentle that my kids barely have time to get nervous. She has such a comforting way with children, and they actually LOVE seeing her, even when they know they're getting a shot! My kids have always handled their vaccines so well, and thankfully, they haven't experienced fevers afterward. Of course, every child is different, but I truly appreciate how comfortable and cared for my children feel in their hands. I also really appreciate how seriously this office takes everyone's health and safety. They are very intentional about keeping the office from becoming crowded. Usually, there are only one or two patients in the office at a time, and you don't really cross paths with other families. It feels like they've created a system that helps minimize unnecessary exposure and the spread of germs, which gives me so much peace of mind as a parent. Lina and Lacy have such sweet personalities and know exactly how to make children feel safe, comfortable, and at home. My children adore them, and that says so much. As a mom, there is nothing better than knowing your kids are in the hands of people who treat them with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. He has wonderful bedside manner, came early both days to look at my baby, and answered a lot of my questions. My son is 2 months now and over the last 2 months, I have contacted Dr. Yu with random questions and he would call me or answer my emails within 24 hours. Made me feel at ease with a lot of decision makings. I highly recommend him and his office. Only advice! Please change your door! Lol. His office has a heavy duty door that slams loud every time someone leaves and they aren't holding the door before it shuts. It's the only vaccine we didn't get and it wasn't necessary. One time I called his office to ask a question. They thought they put me on hold and started making fun of me for asking how much caffeine I can have while nursing. MOST IMPORTANTLY he missed a recommendation to get a specific medical test at 2 months of age from his doctors who delivered him due to an issue he had at birth. He said the recommendation was at one year. I found out he was wrong months later. Lastly his office is sooooo depressing. His ancient metal scales made my baby roll and hit his head. All this doctor did was stress vaccines on us. Otherwise he was useless and SO so rude. I dreaded my baby's appointments because I'd have to see this guy. I'm so happy we left.

Her 2-month checkup had to be scheduled an entire month late because they had no appointments available. When I arrived 15 minutes late, despite calling ahead, they had already marked us as a no-show and refused to see us. They rarely answer their phones, and when they do, the staff are rude and dismissive. Our pediatrician didn't even realize we were her patients and repeatedly told me to schedule an appointment with "my doctor." I had to remind her that SHE was our doctor. I understand offices get busy, but a little compassion and flexibility for parents with newborns goes a long way. I've since switched pediatricians and would not recommend this office.

Dr. O'Connell is retiring she shared with us today at my son's 18 month old appointment. My boy wanted to follow her out as she closed door. He fell to the floor and cried. He is a feeler too. Believe it or not I had an iota something was up before she told us. It speaks volumes about her character that she relayed this in person. She loves what she does and even jokes that she's not sure she can stay away in retirement. I had an especially great reception at the front today. The girls were engaging and laughed at my jokes. Angus, the sweet and cool nurse was so sweet and helpful. She administered my boy's shot like the pro she is! And cooled my babe out like a doll face.
