It's the only food shop we found in the immediate area of Loro Ciuffenna. Very pricy (oops, there goes a star) but a huge time saver if you want to avoid driving to Montevarchi supermarkets - which are crazy awesome by the way.
This laid back local style shop (time stands still here) is ideal for the quick and easy essentials or when you've forgotten something and need last minute scrambles eggs or coffee and such. The couple who own and run the shop are very kind and helpful. They speak Italian only though, so brush up your sign language or get your translator app up and running before you shop. Of course speak Italian if you can (me jealous). Make sure you note the opening hours though, since southerners love their long siestas and weekends (another star killer for me :-( )
