We arrived yesterday for a 4 day stay in Barcelona, but we have already checked out and went to a different hotel. So minus one star for being in a terrible location. There are a total of like 3 restaurants "near" by. And by "near" I mean still kinda far to walk, especially at night since most stuff doesn't open up for dinner until 8:30. And they had super fancy food that did not look appealing to us. Luckily there was a pizza place that delivers to the hotel. It's about a €15 taxi ride to get anywhere if you don't have time to waste 1 hour on the metro, plus the metro closes at midnight. Minus one more star because the shower was horrible. So it is common in Spain hotels to have no curtain. Half of the shower gets covered by a glass panel and the other half is open, but here they didn't do it properly. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but you can easily turn your bathroom into one by taking a shower! Yay! Minus 2 more stars for no ac!!! The hotel does not turn the ac on until June, despite having controls in your room. It was cool outside, but very hot inside my room. We asked twice about the ac, but they just said they are in the transition period between having the heater or ac on. There is not a fan in the room, and they do not have any that you can use. We slept with the windows open and it got cool, but the hotel is right on a highway so it was incredibly loud. The windows also do not stay open, so after they slammed shut a few times, we managed to tie them down with a towel. read more
