I ADORE KULA! They…read moreoffer many different types of classes with teachers who all have their own styles to keep things fresh and diverse. I've enjoyed taking classes here because of the great balance between physical and mental strength you'll get to exhibit in class. If you're new to the practice, definitely take the beginners classes before jumping into a more difficult one. I do find the studio to cater a little bit to those a bit further in their practice (but as mentioned, they do offer beginner classes and workshops -- and their teachers are awesome and attentive, offering variations when needed). For COVID, they've been limiting class sizes, but also offering livestream to give high-risk or those with symptoms an option to practice from home. Check them out!

Ron is so great. He is a licensed massage therapist who comes to wherever you are which is super…read moreconvenient. I have kids and if I had to pack them up to leave the house, by the time I got home again I would no longer be relaxed. Since Ron comes to my house, after he leaves, I can crawl back into bed, or do my yoga, or hop in the shower and start my day...I look a little crazy after a massage, so I love that I am already at home. He is super nice and professional and makes you feel really comfortable...I never feel like I have to have my house perfectly clean when he comes over and if my kids are there playing in the other room it doesn't bother him while he works, I know he has kids too so he understands all that. Before I met Ron I had some bad experiences. It seems like some massage therapists are too rough or too gentle so it usually either hurts or tickles and was just really annoying. OR they talk too much or tell you to be quiet when you want to talk. I had pretty much decided I didn't care for massage. I was recently struggling to lose weight and was getting frustrated because I was doing everything I was supposed to. My trainer recommended that I add massage therapy in addition to exercise and healthy diet, so I read some things and learned that massage therapy increases your flexibility, circulation and immunity it also helps your body repair after hard workouts. Most importantly massage relieves stress and stress causes weight gain especially in the belly area. So I decided to give massage another try. I was so glad I found Ron, I actually met his wife Beth getting coffee on Flagler. Beth is really nice and down to earth, she does all the scheduling and can answer any questions, I mean any question, even ones you feel silly asking. It has been a lot easier to lose weight and I feel so much better now. I have been seeing Ron every week and he is way more affordable than my trainer, lol. The pressure is perfect and we can change up the routine if needed, sometime I need some kinks and knots worked out and sometimes I just need to relax. Sometimes I need peace and quiet and sometimes I want to tell him about my week and he totally gets all that. When my kids were home for summer break he massaged around my headphones so I could listen to my ipod and totally escape. I am training for my first half marathon and I plan on hiring Ron for the event. He will help me warm up my muscles and stretch a little before and he'll be there when I really need him, at the finish line or if I injure myself. Once a month my husband hires Ron on a friday to come into the office as a monthly bonus to his employees. Also since we live on the beach we have a lot of visitors and Ron will set up in our guest room, like our own concierge massage service, we joke that my mother in law comes to visit just to see Ron now and not us. Whether you live here like me or are just here for the weekend or season, you need to schedule an appointment with Ron at TrulySanctuary Massage...you'll love it!!!
