This is the second time I have had Goran at Lucky Drain out for an issue with our rain drain. I…read morecan't recommend him highly enough. His honest and thoughtful approach will save you money. If you want details feel free to read my experience with Goran as well as a drain expert company and an excavating company below. After initially calling another drain company when Goran was out of town they, they came out and after briefly attempting to snake the drain they said that we had a disconnect in our pipes and would need to dig up the concrete in our driveway. They determined this because their snake stopped after a few feet and came up with clay on the tip. I was skeptical because I had already ran my harbor freight snake down the drain about 8 ft, but I thought the excavating company would either validate or invalidated this with proof. The drain company charged $275 for this quick visit. Then I had a company come out that specializes in drain and sewer renewal. They ran a camera down the pipe and confirmed that the pipes were disconnected, but when I saw the video it just looked like the camera was running down the pipe and then everything turned black. I thought that there might be dirt in the lines and this didn't seem conclusive to me to rule out something as simple as dirt in the lines. After the $8K quote, I knew I needed to wait for Goran to come back from vacation, because I trusted the way he problem solved the issue when he was out last time. Sure enough without all the fancy cameras and just by running water down multiple drains Goran thought it might be dirt in the lines as well. He snaked the lines from a different gutter entry location, and got the drain working just fine in less than an hour for $180. He also provided tips for how I can maintain the drain myself, so that I could call him less often. I am sure the excavating company would have dug up my driveway, and replaced my dirt filled lines with new ones without mentioning that they were not disconnected, and then they would have charged me 8K and moved on to the next customer. If you made it this far, just stop researching and call Goran, I don't review often but Lucky Drain deserves your business.
