Very easy to manage bus system to and from the Naples International Airport and the central train station.
Tickets are 3€ if purchased before getting on the bus and 4€ onboard. In the Central Train Station, you can buy a ticket at any newspaper or convenience store if you ask the cashier for an Alibus ticket. (In the airport, I imagine it would be the same but I don't know for sure). However, the extra euro probably won't kill you! It's also significantly cheaper than taking a taxi!
The busses pick up and drop off on the "end of the square," which was covered in construction for us, so we couldn't see it from the train station. Just keep walking, you can't miss the 10 busses waiting to pick people up. (City busses, not the kind that you store your luggage underneath) The Alibus was labeled like any other bus route, and you had to hold your luggage with you-- possibly standing for the whole ride. No worries, it's only about 15 minutes.
They drop off within comfortable walking distance to the airport, but you do have to drag your luggage for a good 5 minutes outside.
Very easy system. Not first class quality but great for the price! read more
