After giving the extensive menu a read, we began our meal with a plate of Padron peppers. This is a staple of cuisine for the country, these semi sweet green peppers grilled with a little evoo and sea salt. A great start, they have a mild flavor most of the time, and a good way to get your stomach going. Along with their version of Pan con Tomate, a nice serving of toasted bread with a fresh cup of shredded tomato spread. This version was good, fresh tasty tomato on the toasted bread. Another good choice. Our third tapa, their grilled vegetables an assortment of grilled potato, peppers, onions, green squash, white asparagus, tomato, eggplant and mushrooms. Cooked well and served hot. Another good choice. For my entree, there it is... Huevos Rotas con Pulpo y patatas. Broken eggs dishes are a huge part of the local cuisine. When I saw this on the menu, had to give it a go! A huge serving in a hot cast iron skillet. Loaded with fresh octopus, over a thin layer of sliced potatoes.
