We are pretty sure Ms Rose just put the fries, shrimp and redfish on the plate and lowered it into the deep fryer. I must say in all honesty, it was all very lightly battered and not greasy really at all. Even when the girls were "dancing" on the bar and in close proximity to the ceiling and aforementioned roach, no notice from anymore. 1 star for Pappy's gnarly toenails. Yeck. (hubby caught a 28.12 lb Redfish out in the Bay).....our cousin's thought it would be a great "end-of-the-day" to walk over to Pappy's Place from our fish camp. UNbeknownst to us, they'd been plannin' to "set us up" for this one for a good while! Brian B., you Are NOT Kidding when you say that the "Pappy's Place" experience will FOREVER be SCORCHED in our memory...UNfortunately! ! ! We literally walked in....."Lingerie Girl" immediately walked up to shake all of our hands....My Good Lord, HAVE MERCY.....I think she was all of 15 (we didn't stick around for any pelvic thrusting, Thank God!) ....I looked to the Right......6-8 locals checked us out & they KNEW we weren't from around there.....we turned around & eased on outta there.
