Sadly, I have to update this review. Over the last couple of years the owner has become less than enjoyable to work with. He smokes right outside the door which is a problem for me as I avoid smoke at all cost. His shop seems chaotic with too much stock just piled up. Can I give a ZERO? What' a horrible business experience. The owner is hyperactive about the business. In the worst way. They were fixated on minutes of their own time, instead of being involved with a guest experience. Basically pushed away, what could have been a very valuable opportunity. For starters I walked in and i guess it was the owner. He said may I help you and I replied not yet I am just browsing. After inquiring about a pair of shoes he asked what size and I said size 13 and he replied I have those are you ready to purchase and I replied no not yet I am browsing. Then he replied my customers come to buy as I have been here for 24 years. I replied well I guess you do not want any new customers because how do I know what you have if I do not browse. very very uncomfortable experience and prejudice, this guy followed me around this small ass shop and was not professional at all. Warning. The clothing at this store is top of the line, a bit extravagant in color but top quality. The owner is very charismatic and very knowledgeable about his top quality products. Unfortunately he uses those qualities to cheat and lie. if you read the reviews, there are multiple claims that he does not pay his vendors. I am not a vendor so I can not directly confirm. But I paid for a clothing item that he did not have in my size and he promised to send it drop shipment to my home address. Long story short, the item never came and I tried and tried to call, but he does NOT answer the listed phone. Too many vendors calling perhaps. I guess he figured the one time gain was worth than having a recurring relationship with me. Shame on him. User be aware. read more

This is an amazing men's store. I bought clothes there foor or five years ago and got over $1000 worth of merchandise for much less. It has held up well and ihasbeen of the quality that one rarely sees anymore. I was back there yesterday and again got excellent service from a well-informed and honest proprietor. Last year my sons needed black suits for a college event. I had recently purchased charcoal suits, navy blazers, khaki slacks and numerous dress shirts and ties when they were home for winter break so this suit purchase was not really in the budget. The owner worked with us and our budget. My sons got two excellent fitting, great quality suits. I wish they had gone to him for their other business wear. His service and the fitting was far superior to what we got in the Boston area for a higher price. read more
