The location is hidden off Terex Rd, but once you take the winding road back towards the lake, you've entered a magical winter wonderland! There's plenty of parking and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. They have a great selection of pre-cut trees at fair prices (perhaps fair prices for Hudson, as the other tree seller at the center of town was a charitable organization that charged through the roof). Here we take a pull cart, grab a hack saw and go hunt for the perfect tree. They have most every common Christmas tree that you can imagine. We hunted for 90-mins until we found the perfect live tree for the height, width and proportion of a tree we were looking for. Once we cut it down and put it on the cart, we brought the tree back to the main house, paid for the tree and the staffers shook off the leaves, bundled the tree and put it on the roof of my car. My children were entertained by the livestock in the back of the farmhouse. They had a pig, goat and rooster with staff showing off these animals. It's a beautiful tree farm that's very picturesque. We saw three separate families on professional photo shoots. I've been here in two snow storms in years prior and can tell you it really helps the moment. Something so magical about the precious white snow falling as you find the perfect Christmas tree. Like a scene out of a Hallmark Channel movie with a washed up actor from Full House or Doogie Houser.

Cackler's is a place to make amazing memories with loved ones. The farm smells amazing. When I went the weather was absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining and the weather was not terribly cold. The line was long to wait for the sleds and saws. You can bring your own to save on time waiting in line. Dogs are welcome, as long as they stay on the leash. It is fun to walk around the farm to find the perfect tree. Once you find it you get to cut it down and take it home for the holidays. Cackler's offers tree shaking, netting, and drilling for an extra cost. I can see this easily becoming a tradition for my family too!

We stumbled upon the Cackler Family Farm, and brought home a gorgeous Canaan Fir tree. It's a bit of a drive from Hilliard, but it was well-worth the trip! There are signs along the road which assured us that we were heading in the right direction. Although the parking lot was packed, it did not seem crowded when we were walking around the farm. There's plenty of space to wander around to search for the perfect tree! A kind gentleman helped answer questions by the information sign. Be sure to head to the info area for a map of the general area. It will list the different tree species and where they are located. If you're unsure about which type you like, there's a row of examples around the front of the farm. A sled and saw are provided. Many trees have a red tag to identify the species and price. However, you also have the option of picking an untagged tree. We were told that there are too many trees to tag at once. Just be sure not to cut a baby tree or step on them :) Once you get a tree, bring it around to the front office area to have it prepped to bring home. They shake off excess pine bits. For $3, you can have the tree netted. There is a small concession stand for snacks and drinks, along with a children's play area with a cute donkey and lamb. Handmade holiday wreaths are featured in the main office area are for sale. Cackler Family Farm has beautiful trees with endless options. With its location relatively close to Columbus, it was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Christmas tree!

I totally would have understood that but when I got to talking to her when canceling she said she didn't hear from me and she had others interested in that date! The through me off. I never received any call, text, or email from her that anything has changed or that she needed anything from us. I was having a baby at the time. Anyhow now your keeping my 1400 even though you already rebooked my date before I even canceled?? I'm so glad I canceled and didn't find out a few months before. She's was so scattered that she couldn't keep her story straight. Said she wasn't sure if she would rebook the date even though it came off like she already did so then I asked if I could resell my date like other venues let you do. She said no. So your keeping my money and making more off other people for the same day that seems like your scamming people out of their own money? I offered to help her at her farm, I tried to be as respectful as possible. And it's just something that keeps me up at night now wondering how this lady is able to do this. Thought about reporting her to the Business bureau but just honestly want to make sure others know before booking their wedding there that you have to talk to her every month or she could forget about you.
