The comments were positive, it was close to my home and specialized in estate law. Sounded like a great match so I went to their office for an introductory meeting. Sarah was great, she explained the options clearly, outlining the pro's and con's of various options with great detail. Once I indicated my interest in becoming a client, documents were prepared for draft review, we iterated and had one final meeting to review executable docs. Simple, quick and thorough.

I don't like to write negative reviews, but I feel it's my obligation to warn other people about…read morethis extremely unprofessional lawyer. I called for a phone consult on a pending case. The owner / head lawyer (initials OS) was rude and dismissive. I asked a few questions he couldn't answer and he became irate and started using curse words. Then I asked him about certain laws and he told me everything I was saying was wrong, wrong, wrong! I was reading the laws directly from the NH.gov website, but apparently he thinks he knows the law better than the lawmakers who made the law? Then, when I mentioned the name of the opposing attorney he started raising his voice and calling her derogatory names. (By his reaction I can only assume that she kicked his butt in court more than once). He might be a decent lawyer? But his attitude makes me think he's a frustrated lawyer, without many clients. I finally told him that I didn't have any money for his retainer, because I figured it was the easiest way to get him to end the call, and less rude than me just hanging up on him. It worked. I'm giving two stars because the lady who answered the phone was a genuine sweetheart. Nice, friendly, and very pleasant. So that's 5 stars for her, but minus 3 stars for him and his whiny attitude. If you're looking for a lawyer that can represent your interests you can definitely do better than this guy.

I had a free consultation regarding a personal bankruptcy and Chris took the time to go through all the pros and cons of bankruptcy. He answered all of my questions and always answered my calls or returned them within an hour or so. I ended up doing a Chapter 7 and my discharge was granted in December of 2018. What a huge relief to get a fresh start! Chris takes the time to listen to your concerns and my entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Thank you for your professionalism and outstanding work.

Jim represented me in a terrible custody battle in which the odds were vastly against the outcome I…read morewas looking for. He worked on my behalf tirelessly and he let me know all the way by his work and actions that my interests and the interests of my children were protected. Jim is very hard working, very reliable and detailed oriented in his work and will take extra steps to ensure that he understands your situation. He is very responsive and there is enormous reassurance in knowing that your lawyer will return your calls quickly and will explain things clearly. I believe that one of the qualities that sets Jim apart from other lawyers is his tremendous ability to understand people and situations. I remember being in Court with him representing my case to the judge. The way Jim told my story was the way I lived it myself. It was so true and authentic that in my heart of hearts I do believe that his ability to relate to me on a human level and tell my story from that perspective is what won that day, and not just the facts of the case. This exceptional quality was also obvious in many other instances, such as mediations and interactions with other lawyers and experts involved in the case. In many ways, the words fall short from relaying how grateful I am to have Jim as my attorney. If anyone wants the certainty that his or her interests are protected by a remarkably smart, very experienced and always very well prepared lawyer, that would be Jim Tenn. A very happy and grateful client. MS
