-Dr Swope, I have no other option but to leave this note. I just got a call from someome claiming to work for you who SLAMMED me on the phone, not letting me speak at all, screaming at me that I owe you money and you were not about to provide free services to me - I NEVER asked for free services. She screamed at me as if what I owe you is going to put you out of a home. She was ANGRY. I tried speaking, she hung up on me. I tried calling back, she blocked my phone. You just made me have to walk to the library to access the Internet & try communnicating this way. I really don't understand what made you suddenly turn to this incredibly aggressive mode. After you came in last October, I gave you my e-mail to bill me. (I remember your words: "don't worry about it"). I didn't hear from you at all, & until New Year I had not begun calling you because ***I AM IN PAIN*** from the loss of my best friend, something I thought you understood! When I started calling, I kept getting either "an assistant" (Brianna, Tiffany, etc...) & kept leaving messages for you to call me back. I WANTED TO KNOW HOW MUCH I OWED! No callback, though. Not even sure if you're getting my messages.
-Then my computer crashed - I had ALL my contacts, info, my passwords & password reset security questions), everything in there. I kept calling you to try to talk to you about this, as I have no means of seeing if you've sent anything.
-I was finally able to talk to you, barely last week, you did not even mention a bill. *I* was the one who did. I told you "I appreciate that you didn't bill me immediately, as the death is still fresh & hurts, but you're a business & must get paid". Those were MY WORDS. You again asked me for my e-mail and I gave it but explained that I had no access to it.
-I also told you a dire condition my other pet is in, and YOU said you'd see if you could get a tech for Saturday to come see him and *I SAID* that you'd have your prior bill's money then. You said you'd call me back to let me know.
-I never heard back. I started calling again, getting voicemails that directed me to call San Francisco, & seldom a live person who said they'd relay the message to you.
-Then out of the blue, last 1/25 you called back as I'd gone back into work (where I can't have my phone on), & left a message saying you wouldn't be able to see my pet unless you "receive some form of payment". Are you serious? I CALLED TO ASK YOU TO BILL ME & I'm being accused of being PURPOSELY trying to avoid payment? Do your staff enjoy kicking people while they're down?
-And blocking me because I try calling back to be able to reach you to ASK about how to pay you, if I have no email, no bill, no way of arranging to see you to GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY?!! How is that logical? Do you usually have your staff treat customers like criminals, they way they're doing it with me? I HAVE NEVER neglected to pay any of my bills, and to have your staff slam me like they have is beyond insulting.
-I stayed home sick today and was hoping to finally reach you, when this woman who called (English accent, don't know her name) yelled, implied that I was a freeloader, did not let me speak/explain anything, said it was the last time I would get to call and that there would be no communication with you ever again, hung up on me, & blocked my phone. So, thanks for reopening the wound I've been trying to heal, but PLEASE explain how am I supposed to reach you to pay you if I'm told that I'm refused contact with you? HOW do people pay you if they have no way of CONTACTING you? HOW did we go from me INITIATING contact to tell you I owed you to your staff accusing me of theft, basically, and in worse aggressive fashion than I've ever experienced with anyone?
I have a pet who's in dire condition & whom I've been refused attention for because, I'm told, I have been purposely trying to get free veterinary care. I'm sorry if the comparison offends but I feel my pet's being held hostage for ransom, the way I've been treated by your staff/answering service, I was hoping not to have to associate you w/anything negative, since you were kind enough to come to my aid when I needed, but your staff is not helping. I now stress enormously when I think of you & now my memory of your visit is soiled. I'm sure this is not YOU personally, but your staff reflects on you and they've made your business come across as barbaric.
This does NOT come across as compassionate or caring at all. It feels like I was initially dealing with a kind person who's turned into something evil. And I'm having nightmares because of it. SMH. Now, if YOU get to read this instead of yet another abusive staff person, I'd love to talk to YOU directly to sort the business between us.
