As a hospitality and event worker who makes due independently, this place has been completely understanding and transparent with budget, needs, and expectations. I know a few vets work there, but I've consistently seen Dr. "A" as I took to his practical approach in discussing a pets needs in accordance to budget. The front desk workers as well; patient and kind. I think its customary for any vet to give you a full scope when offering an initial quote on procedures and medication. At times, it was fine with my budget and other times, it wasn't. Dr. A and staff were very responsive and cooperative when we had to approach dental surgery for my dog. I set boundaries for budget and they honored it. My pup will still need some work done down the road, but what Dr. A conveyed is that the work they did would significantly improve my dog's mouth comfort and minimize the likelihood of future infections. They also offer a few credit line options that have 0% interest as long as the card is paid on-time within 6,12, 18mos. I have used Care Credit a few times and enjoyed the experience. Buckle up and please read through this one will be a long one…read more I brought my dog here, my baby, on September 28th 2026 after begin denied help from countless vets, animal hospitals, and animal emergency rooms. (I live an hour away) When Laurel heard what was going on with my Pinto she said bring him in, let's get him fixed and we will figure out the rest after. I brought him in and he ended up having to have emergency surgery for an obstruction that had ended up rupturing because I had spent days trying to find someone to help me with Pinto. However with the amazing work and quick action of Laurel and her entire team Pinto made it through his surgery. Pinto had stayed a few days and was released home on Saturday October 3rd 2026 in the evening and when we went back for his recheck on Monday he unfortunately had another rupture and went right back for another emergency surgery. It scared me so much that he was going back under after such a short period of time but staff reassured me they would do everything they could for Pinto. That is exactly what they did Pinto made it through surgery and is still in recovery but he is looking better then ever I know this through the video and photos that they have sent me. I have read many of the reviews as well before writing this and I wanted to address a few things. Firstly to everyone who has had the experience of needing to bring their fur baby in for an emergency I am truly sorry you have had to experience it is absolutely gut wrenching. However there are some things that I have found consistent with the bad reviews that need to be considered by any new patients looking at those reviews. 1. The staff being rude and or cold. When I first walked in the door I too had that first initial reaction that the staff were harsh with how they spoke. Once Pinto was out of the woods though I was able to reflect better without my emotions clouding me. Laurel and her team noticed and reacted to the fact that they could see Pinto was in very critical condition and I had been rambling explaining the situation. That supposed "coldness" lasted only while we were in the danger zone because they were worried about him. I have never had to leave him with anybody but this is a team I trust wholeheartedly with my pets. 2. The fact that it is low cost, some of the same surgeries that I was quoted at other places was about 10k and here it was about a quarter of that and although each situation is different which means different prices. All I know is that this was 100% my fault because I know how much vets cost and yet I didn't plan for an emergency for my baby and I have learned my lesson and will not only start putting money aside in case of anything and possibly even get pet insurance. All I know is that the staff at Kinder4Rescue saved my Pinto and they did not judge me for me messing up as a pet parent and they worked with me and my situation when 20+ other vets wouldn't give me the time of day. 3. My last point is going to be regarding updates on your pet during/after procedures and or care within the facility. I have had different people from the team reach out to me at different stages of Pintos stay including a photo of him the morning after his surgery. However, if I want an update anytime throughout the day I call and they have always been more than happy to tell me what has been going on with Pinto and how he has been doing. They are an extremely busy hospital and just like human hospitals they aren't going to update you every 1-2 hours (as much as we want that it's just not feasible) however as I stated above they were more than happy to answer any questions I had if I called. In conclusion, Kinder4Rescue is a place I would 1000% recommend for your fur babies. It is always nerve wrecking leaving them with someone especially when some situations are dire but take with a grain of salt the complaints you see here as they are coming from angry and emotional pet parents; and although they have a right to feel all of those things it is not okay that out of anger they could write a review that deters another pet parent from a place that actually cares about the animals.

When you call, you'll get an answering machine that will give you a breakdown of services. You can go to their website to read about it too. I emailed the clinic Minnie's medical records on a Friday afternoon and requested intake forms to complete ahead of time. They replied within 1.5 hours and instructed to write in blue ink. On Monday, I brought my forms, arrived at 7:30am and parked on the street for two hours after 8am. There were three pet parents ahead of me. Also, you can park behind the building. There are three spaces that you can double park while the other two is reserved. Once they opened, they only allowed 1-2 pet parents at a time. I waited about 20 minutes and the vet assistant saw me immediately and took Minnie in the exam room. He said that they can remove the mass on her leg, but they have to do blood work first to make sure that her lungs and stomach were clear. The vet assistant took Minnie to the back room to do the test. After he took her to the back room, I had to complete more paperwork and paid via Zelle since they charge 3% if you use a card. They do have payment plans through Cherry but the clinic still charge 3% if you choose this option. The price is comprehensive which includes the lab test, xray, overnight stay, cone, medication, biopsy test and suture removal. They do the blood work, X-rays and exam in morning then surgery in the afternoon. This entire process took about 4 hours. They were very thorough with all the tests and evaluation. They gave me options to remove the mass or amputation. I had decided to remove the mass rather than amputate my 16 years old baby which would require her to learn new motor skills. That night, they called and texted me at 7:30pm. "Hi this is Kinder4Rescue letting know that Minnie is doing well and resting comfortably after the procedure. We will give you a call tomorrow afternoon after the doctor examines her and let you know what time she will be ready to go home." It's Tuesday and they called at 12:37pm that Minnie is ready for pickup and that she's doing well. They also texted that she's ready. I got there a little before 5pm and there was one patient ahead of me picking up their dog so we had to wait about 10 minutes. Crystal brought Minnie out then explained the medication schedule both verbal and written. Overall, we are very blessed for the vet to refer us to a surgical clinic that did an amazing job. Furthermore, they do non-anesthetic dental cleaning at a reasonable price so I will start going here. Honestly, I was a little nervous at first but I had faith in my vet and trusted her expertise. Anyway, I highly recommend this clinic and they have a customer for life.

If your pets pick up time is before 1PM, they will contact you. The expectation is for you to come pick up your animal promptly after the call to avoid stress on the animals so make sure you hang out close to the location if don't live close. When I got there, vet techs were waiting for me. Some of them took her back, and one took my story on what happened, and her symptoms. I had to call Pet Poison Line so they could tell the vets how to treat her-that's fine-and they wanted to do a full workup on her since she is 12. I said that's fine, that's what insurance is for. It was about 11pm when I was sent home to rest while they took care of her. At about two, they called me to tell me that she survived the nightshade poisoning, but they had found a thicker spot in her intestines in the x-ray, and they wanted to do follow-up images in the morning, so I got another estimate for them to keep her til the next day and run another round of x-rays and do an ultrasound. She stayed and I went back to sleep. In the morning, a very kind vet whose name I don't remember called me and went over what is happening and why that spot could be there. She gave me advice on how to proceed after today. She asked what food my cat eats so they could give it to her there too. I was kept in the loop the whole time from when I got there to when I picked her up at 4:30pm. It set me back about $3500. Thank God for pet insurance. But considering all they did and the overnight stay, not terrible. My cat's idiocy may have saved her bacon if we caught something early, but so did True Care's thoroughness.

Calls are rarely returned, communication is almost nonexistent, and getting something as simple as a prescription refill has turned into a nightmare. My dog depends on his medication to eat properly, yet I was told I now need to pay for another doctor's appointment just because the previous veterinarian left over a year ago -- something they never bothered to properly communicate to pet owners. How is that acceptable? To make matters worse, they don't even have appointments available until mid-July. So what exactly are patients supposed to do in the meantime? Wait until their pets are seriously suffering just to be seen and get medication they already rely on? There seems to be a complete lack of urgency, compassion, and accountability. Pet owners trust clinics with the wellbeing of their animals, and this experience has been beyond frustrating and honestly heartbreaking
