The venue also has a wonderful inventory of tables, linens, umbrellas, and other essentials, and Willie made sure everything was set up in a way that worked perfectly for our event. We also really appreciated the flexibility to bring in our own vendors! Bankers Hill Club is truly such a hidden gem in San Diego. Our guests loved the beautiful views and market lights on the patio, and the indoor space was perfect for our DJ and dancing later in the evening. The building often hosts events for the tenants that are free a d a lot of fun. The parking is convenient, but it can get very busy on game days and events. The elevator is secured and you need a fob to get to your floor which is nice and makes you feel secure. The front desk also makes sure to check people in if you are in a secured floor. Anyone would be lucky to have an office here.

I was dreamingly telling my girlfriends there that THIS would be THE place I'd like to either have 1) prince charming propose to me, 2) wedding reception dinner or rehearsal dinner, 3) buy when i make a bazillion bucks. You get incredible views of Petco Park, Coronado bridge, the harbor, South SD ( i think we saw TJ in the distance for crying out loud!). Think of Altitude Sky Lounge WITHOUT the craziness. The outside patio does indeed get breezy and cold. But they have this beautiful, long fireplace that kept alot of ppl warm and toasty. Not sure how much it is to rent out this venue but my goodness, it's seriously an amazing place.

There were 2 entrances, one for VIP and another for regulars and both were easy to navigate. Parking was easy considering that Liberty station can get too crowded and confusing as all looks like the same and it is way bigger than looks like.

We could've held our event at a hotel meeting room or a restaurant, but the Assembly Hall was affordable and will be remembered as the perfect place. We had dance, piano, and musical performances on their stage, and used the projector and screen for several slide presentations. The lighting and sound systems were top of the line for this type of facility, and it was very special to be able to have the facility to ourselves instead of sharing a partitioned hotel ballroom with other parties. The A/C in August helped too. My Husband learned to be a gentleman from Mr. Benjamin's Cotillion in this Hall back in the 70's, so seemed very fitting we had our Wedding Reception there too! The entire place was dark and locked up despite having a listed closing time of 12:00 am. * On my third attempt, I was able to order a BBQ tri-tip sandwich with kettle chips. The meat was nicely grilled and flavorful, and the portion size was adequate for the price. The most recent visit on its own would have garnered 3.5 stars because of the food and service. Unfortunately, the previous failed attempts dropped the overall rating to a level between 2.5 and three stars.

In addition to the fresh basil, the flat bread needed some fresh garlic and a light drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. If you are going to call it a Margherita Flatbread, well let's make one! True, most of it is dirt-packed, open air and chain link fenced in, but again, it works. We were there for a beer festival (naturally). The check-in process was smooth and easy, even though people were lined up around the block. They kept everyone moving along, and made sure to answer any questions along the way. Truly appreciate the ease of access. The flow once inside was easy to navigate, which could have gone the other way, given all the people there, and the tendency to cluster. It never felt cramped, which is amazing. The stage area was just below and to the side of the small relaxation spot, which had seats, benches, small tables and fake grass (that outdoor carpeting that looks like it's trying really hard to be grass, you know?) About the only thing that sucked about the venue that night was the line for the potties. It was longer than most of the beer and food lines, and meant that most people were going to spend the bulk of the evening in line to shee shee. Maybe they were okay spending money on a beer festival to spend all night in a potty line, but I certainly was not. Other than the clear lack of bathrooms, the venue is great. I loved the feel of the place, and the way it looked lit up at night.
