So far so good... At the first visit, I told the artist what I want. We talked about design, style, size, position, .... Very explicit. I was offered something to drink and felt very well from the beginning. The interior was decorative as a tattoo studio should be. Highlight was a large elkhead in the entrance area. The studio was clean and tidy. Just one day later I dropped by to get the artwork done. The artist took his time to prepare, again we talked about the details and about an hour later it was finished. I payed and got some bepanthen at the pharmacy. The price for the tattoo was moderate and the quality very satisfying. There is just one little point. Through the large windows it's light inside, but everyone walking outside can watch you getting the ink. A bit more privacy would be nice. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo in stockholm, I can absolutely advise Zoi in Gamla stan.

I got a tattoo here recently and heard good stories from others…read more My own experience: +: the tattoo looks very well done and I am very happy with how it turned out. -: I was on time (and scheduled the appointment well in advance) but when I arrived I was told there was some delay and I had to wait half an hour (I thought I'd be the first one of the day since it was quite early). -: The tattoo took a few hours and after half an hour or so into the inking, a friend of the artist arrived and they chatted for basically the rest of the sitting, in their native language. I thought this was very rude and I wasn't comfortable. I don't pay a lot of money to listen to someone like they are in a pub/coffee break with friends. -: I asked for a price estimation when I booked and brought as much as the highest limit of the estimate they gave me. When the tattoo was finished, they asked for a SEK1000 more than the upper limit without any explanation which I found odd and not very professional. So the tattoo looks good but I will not go back to this studio since the experience wasn't very nice.
