We overheard her tell her poor young waiter to put her " habitués " in the back nice room while we had a bad table. Very expensive meal for two scallops in my plate and so did my sister and one side dish. We saw other plates pass us by with more. We were charged for a cheese we never consumed too. The setting is pretty and it could have been a nice experience. If I had not been a guest I would refused to pay and made a scene but apparently our host was too polite to deal with this woman ! They were training new waiters so there were a few minor hiccups immediately corrected by the trainer. The menu offers variety including vegetarian options. I had the specials of the day. Duck confit with veggies and the raspberry tartlet for dessert. Aside from the relative toughness of the crust, the tartlet was heavenly. Homemade I am sure. Well done ! The confit was good and the veggies (broccoli and peas) were perfectly cooked and seasoned with herbs. That's a place that should attract the locals. If not, the locals are stupid ! Wine tasting events, as the owner is planning on hosting, would be perfectly at home here !
