I do not know why this is listed in the Fruits & Veggies Category since they have no fruits & veggies that I saw with the exception of the canned variety. I will be going back there to shop since they have the largest selection of eastern foods since Troika has closed. When I turned to go finish shopping, both smoothies dropped on the floor from the carrier and exploded everywhere. It got on an employee, an older couple ordering food, my BRAND NEW shoes, my sweatshirt, pants & white socks and stained them all. Not once did any of the 5 employees offer to help or apologize, except one. He says "What kind of smoothies were they" I proceeded to say that I will pass, as I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for someone to make them for them to spill again. Yes, I'm weird. :-/ While this supermarket lacks the incredible quality, visual impact, and diverse selection of my fave supermarket chain, Wegmans, it has a lot going for it. First, everything is very clean and organized. This organization extends into the labeling of the aisles. Here is their simple, yet brilliant idea: in addition to the hanging signs above each aisle indicating what is located there, there are also little signs that stick out from the tops of the shelves themselves and indicate what's located IN THAT SECTION. Yes! Brilliant, right! For someone unfamiliar with the layout and organization of the store, it makes shopping SO much easier! No backtracking! No hunting down an associate to ask where the chickpeas are! No wandering around aimlessly with a glazed expression on your face, jaw slightly hanging open like the catch of the day at the seafood counter! Secondly, the store is big and carries a fine array of foodstuffs - everything from fine cheeses, to pre-made foods, to no-name brands and everything in between. There is also a Starbucks, a bank, a pharmacy AND a nutritionist office (yes, you read that right) on site. Talk about one-stop shopping! This place is awesome.
