Great pizza and good drinks…read more This appears to be THE college bar based on the clientele, and everyone was pretty chill. A few of the drinkers were animated and yelling at football, a few more were preening for their cameras, but everyone was having a good time. Plenty of space. Fast and friendly service. Pool and darts if you like your games. Happy we stopped in and will be back next time we're in town. Cheers!

This Aldi is located in the cherry hill shopping center which give it a big parking lot. Shopping cart require a quarter for use. They have a lot of item for sale from food to household supplies. The only downside is that at times they don't have enough cashier causing long line & long wait times. They have 6 register but always only have 2 cashier at a time. All in all it a nice place to do some grocery shopping.

The signage makes it easy to find. We were there on a Monday and the place was busy. The sales area is a large space with a lot of different kinds of apples. There were common types such as Fuji and less common types such as Harrelson and Chieftain. We bought a large bag of Harrelson which Bookguy said were tart and slightly sweet. It made the corners of his mouth pucker up a bit. They also have popcorn kernels, cider, lots of jars of various jams, preserves, and other jars of produce. There was a little cafe area where people could sit and eat apple pie. Across from the store is a building where they make the cider. When we were there, they weren't making cider, but there are two self-serve spigots which dispensed cold cider. I thought it was a cool idea, but apparently not everyone is as self-disciplined as we were in limiting our sample to one little cup, based on posted signs. Bookguy liked the apples so much that he considered going back the same way to buy another bag, but time constraints prevented it. Another plus about going to Small's is the beautiful scenery. The Loess Hills forests make for a great leaf peeping experience as well.

My wife and I have come here the last two years for apples and pumpkins…read more It's a beautiful drive up the Loess Hills Scenic Byway, and a perfect place to go for a family trip in the fall. We usually come away with a pumpkin, a few bags of apples, and a few jugs of cherry and raspberry cider. You can pick your own apples but you have to go early enough in the season to do so. We came too late and they had already picked all of the apples. :( Prices are a bit steep, but that's to be expected. These places are in high demand in the fall, and we're always happy to contribute to small businesses and local farmers. This is great for adults and the kiddos -- and although their pumpkins are pricey ($6.75 for mine), they have a good selection that you can pick yourself and mine always turn out perfect as Jack-O-Lanterns.

We pulled off I-29 with a wink and a prayer, hoping we could find a grocery store... as luck would have it, we found our way here. This smallish grocery store (by our spoiled SoCal standards) reminded me of grocery stores when I was a little kid: no big fancy displays, no gimmicks, no 10¢ a grocery bag... just a clean well-stocked grocery with nice folks running the joint. There is a low glass case at the meat department and--get this-- butchers working back there! Fresh produce and cold drinks, soft bread, and enough sugary junk for the kids... a couple of bags of ice and we were back on our way: mom making sandwiches on the truck center console, and kids rattling chips bags in the back seat. Can't imagine when we'll find our ways back here, but glad my brain has files away a memory here of a nice little grocery store. Is this heaven? ... it's Fareway.
