Found Aldi's many years ago when traveling in Germany. Aldi's is smaller than most grocery stores but has all the main staples that one needs to prep for meals at a fraction of the price. They are mainly a store brand option but don't let that fool you as I have heard that many big name brands create products for Aldi's. Additionally, if you are not pleased with their brand products they will take it back no questions asked. In all the years I have been going to Aldi's I have returned only a couple of produce items.
Please keep in mind this is a no frills store that helps make it efficient to get you out of there in 20 minutes or less. You will need to bring a quarter for your shopping cart, bring your own bags ( they do offer bags for purchase), and bagging your own groceries is a must.
For those who love Aldi's you know the Aldi's aisle of shame well which includes limited time items/ finds and great buys on other types of household items like table clothes, table linen, kitchen linens, pet items, candles, greeting cards, seasonal decor, small appliances, and even clothing (though I have never bought their clothing). Items down this aisle change frequently and new items are put out on Wednesdays. Love going to Aldi's though this is my least favorite location as they tend to be short on cashiers and clientel at this location tend to be sketchy. read more
