My favorite places are the New York Italian Bread, the honey, the fresh catch fish co, Grammies cakes, Lofra Asian cuisine, and Jimmy's Java. I enjoy perusing the handmade goods - those ocean wave tumblers are gorgeous. The flowers are fresh and beautiful. The next couple of booths I need to try are the empanadas, the kettle corn and the guacamole guys. The streets are closed off so it's safe to walk. People bring their kids and dogs. Bring your own shopping bag or wagon- you're gonna need it. This last time I grabbed a loaf of bread, clam chowder, smoked fish dip, a couple bags of coffee, a large jar of honey, kimchi and dumplings to go, and some local rum. Last time, I got a loaf of bread, a couple cakes, and some fresh veggies. The market is open Saturdays from 8-1. There is a large parking garage that is next to it and the parking is free. Come, buy something, enjoy the music and support local.

You just bake it in the toaster oven for around 15 minutes and you have a delicious piece of fish! We also love their brisket burgers which are locally sourced. With all the controversy in the meat market lately, we are happy to purchase these delicious burgers. Another favorite is the stuffed chicken breast with feta and spinach. Another quickie dinner! To top it off, Dave and I bought two chocolate covered key lime pies on a stick. All I can say is they are outrageously delish. The chocolate is so dark and thick and the key lime filling complements it perfectly! There is also a loyalty card when you spend over $50, and it goes towards a choice of a free package of shrimp, brisket burgers or a pie. I know their trucks go to local green markets too. So we can't recommend this business enough!

I always asked, " what about Florida?" Well, I haven't found the folks here to be so welcoming. They don't care for my Southern accent and I often feel like I'm speaking a foreign language. It is what it is I suppose. The farmer's market makes me feel welcome and the vendors are warm and nice and are just good dang people. We buy the same veggies from the same family every week and I honestly think they would notify the police if we did not show up. Everything is delicious and there is not a product I wouldn't be proud to show off in my home. Of course, the doggies make my day bright. So if you want to feel good, just go. I do it every Saturday and even though I'm ready for the next adventure, they keep me coming back for some warmth. Just the brightest spot around. Fresh flowers are great as well!
