I am never a fan of going to Walmart in general and every year it seems worse and worse in some…read moreway. Visiting family for the holidays and being in the area we needed to grab some quick things. This was the convenient place to go for sure. Not much overall to say, almost everyone is aware of how Walmart is and has visited one. I typically would rate one star for many reasons for being a miserable place to shop. The reason I am giving two stars though is because the overall cleanliness and setup was far superior to any back in Maine. The care and attention to specifically the clothing section was surprising. I'm so use to clothes being thrown all over the place and not much looking neat. So this was quite the surprise. Still not a spot I care for but did think it deserved the slight recognition with two stars.

I went to Walmart this morning and went through a checkout that a deaf woman was working at. I…read moreunderstand that she has a disability and it might make her job harder for her but she was extremely rude. No customer service skills at all. She was able to hear and talk a little bit and my mother was putting things in the cart as she scanned our stuff she scanned our fishing pole which had the option to put a warranty on it and she yelled at my mother to "pay attention" because she needed to click yes or no. Apparently being polite to customers isn't a requirement anymore.

Neat little store with surprises around every corner. Local vegetables and meat and then the…read moreharder to find stuff you won't find in a traditional grocery store...specialty drinks, small coffee producers and organic beans and rice. There's a bakery out back that makes the scones and bread. The scones are really good. Lots of items are on the pricey side but it is supporting local and some things are actually less expensive than the box box stores.

We have now lived in Colton NY for about 2 years now from Boston. We do have great Grocery stores like Big Y, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods which I dearly miss- PC is a great contender. They seem to be more into giving back to the community than many places. They are certainly more diverse also than Aldi Potsdam. Stars are deserved. Though- just for clarity- please take the 24 Hour Sign down though I would adore to moonlight a overnight shift.
