This place has a lot of German products for Octoberfest. Streudel, cake, cookies, stolen, pretzels, everything looks so inviting. Of course don't forget to get the brats wursts. One cashier lady was so nice and friendly.

This Aldi location is one of the "older" locations which has the older layout. However don't let that fool you, they still have some great finds and good deals. Navigating the store is easy and due to the small footprint of the store, I can easily find what I need. Also there is the seasonal/weekly aisles which are jokingly referred to by some as the infamous "aisle of shame." These are items that are limited stock, so once they are gone they are gone until next year. The reason I'm docking one star is due to one of the cashiers rudely shutting down the register we were waiting in line for. It would of been nice to have a heads up. With the exception of that individual, I have had pleasant interactions with the staff. Things to know: -have a quarter ready for a cart, don't worry you will get it back upon return -plan to bring your own reusable shopping bags or be prepared to pay for bags (although not sure how this will work with the impending plastic bag ban set to take place soon). -be careful in the produce aisle, some items may seem like a good price but the price listed is per pound -if you are vaccinated, no mask required -social distancing is no longer enforced, although there are signs and floor markers all over the place -if you see plants near the register (and happen to like gardening), they are usually priced much lower than competitors and are usually a steal

Aldi Supermarket at South Front St Philadelphia. With their cheap prices, a Man With A Van could probably fit $12,000 worth of groceries.

So I couldn't let my $5 coupon go to waste and toughed out the line. Aldi sells a relatively small selection of very high quality items at lowball prices. I think of Aldi corporater as a Madrigal (from Breaking Bad) -type entity and chuckle at the thought of the thought process behind their business model.

High end party food including Cheese a shrimp cocktail ring, fruit, chocolate--plus some extra groceries for me for just under $100!!!

Love this store. Prices are reasonable and everything is high quality. I stop in every time I go to the Goodwill store. I like what I get.

Not only was picking out our tree at Giordano fast and easy, we also spent less than any other year in recent memory. I pulled up curbside on Washington Ave and nervously turned on my flashers. Yep, I was that girl, but thankfully didn't get any angry honks. Within five minutes, we selected a great-looking tree with a pleasant bluish hue (a blue spruce, I'm told). We paid just $45 plus a nice tip for the young guy who eagerly helped us out. Our tree was loaded onto the car and we were off. The tree is absorbing water quickly and it smells fantastic. The needles are definitely sharper than other trees we've had in the past, but I don't plan on bumping into it too often! Great experience and we'll definitely consider them again next year!

Lunch meats, bread, almost everything you'll find in an acme , giant, super fresh, or wherever you would go they have. Best thing is the prices that can't be beat, freshness of the product, along with the staff. Bring cash cause I was " that guy " who broke out the card when it was posted cash only. Now every time we are down here this is another great location to load up on fresh fruit and so forth. For $16.00 I had 5 full bags of fruits, and veggies to bring home. Here it is ... an invite, so come over the house you'll enjoy the tortillas, with the corn meal to make tamales we bought from San Roman a few doors away, along with the fresh fruits to make pies . Well I hope she makes pies out of them , if not I have great liquors to mix it up with the fruit. Great experience, happy to have saved money with more visits to come.

The four of us found the Dutch on Yelp, and headed there from our hotel in Philly. It reminded my wife and I of some of the neighborhood spots. We enjoyed so much in our own town of Baltimore. The waitress, JENN, was fantastic. I think she had every table, but every employee were doing their part. The chef must handpick the ingredients, because everything was fresh and delicious. My wife and I each had a special pressed fruit drink to start, and it was a perfect appetizer if you will. Very refreshing and energizing. The food was amazing. I had the mushroom omelette. The mushrooms were very fresh and not overcooked. The omelette was thick, but not foamy. All of the ingredients were handled with care on the inside. The taste of truffles was a nice addition. My wife had the salmon omelette, and it was out of this world. Possibly the best omelette I've ever tasted. She agreed. Delicate, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. One of our boys had a huge waffle covered in fresh berries, and just the right amount of whipped cream. He said it was the best waffle he ever had, and I have to agree. Light and fluffy and sweet, he didn't even add syrup. Perfect. Our other son had the double cheeseburger. Again, cooked perfectly, and the avocado was very fresh and an excellent addition. When we are in Philly again, this will be our breakfast spot. An absolute pleasure dining here. I highly recommend.
