It is split into organic and non organic items. The produce quality is good and some of it is locally sourced. Next you will walk through the bakery where many of their items are housemade, or again, locally sourced. You can find tomato pie as well as Hemstroughts half moons. My favorite is their pistachio muffins. Get there early because they run out quick! The deli and cheese sections are fairly run of the mill. They have some natural or organic items but not a lot. The dairy, beer, and frozen sections are ok. Overall the store is clean, well organized, and rarely will you find something that is expired. My parents have had really good luck with the pharmacy here too.

They do not have a great selection of international produce and I'd recommend Lucky Mey's on Oneida Street for anything not in a standard American diet. However, make sure you stop at Aldi down the road first for produce. They stock the same brands (Driscolls, Foxy) for almost half the price. Then make your way to Hannaford for what you can't get at Aldi.

They usually have several racks of bread from 3 to 5 local bakeries (Big O's, Napoli's, Salvatore's). Chanatry's is known not only for their large selection of local products but also their meat department, deli, and of course the opportunity to get a selfie with the Pope. Service here is very reminiscent of the 50's vibe. Lines are short and move. Baggers are readily available, butcher is available later than other stores. Truly one of my favorite stores.

Mounted on each shelf in front of every item is a price along with a QR code. Today, I had a feeling that the items in the shelf were not in the right place and since there was no SKU on the price marker l tried to scan the QR code. Of course without Internet access it didn't work. To me it seems like for Walmart the benefits of allowing Internet access for customer convenience outweigh the chance that customers will do comparison pricing with other stores. That is the only reason I can think of for completely disabling access.

Rude employees who yell at you when asking about a product being in stock. Almost every cash register is turned off even during peak business hours and with long lines. I think Shaq has a better chance of hitting a free throw than receiving an error free delivery. Many of my favorite staples are also no longer being stocked here as well despite abundant availability in other locations. Hopefully the length of this review will also help clearly illustrate the intense feeling of frustration I've been experiencing recently shopping here.

She also introduced us to other excellent choices. When I went back in to buy additional desserts, she sent me out with the most wonderful hot pastry to share with my husband, at no cost. The store itself has many types of foods you cannot find any place else including pork tongue. The ladies were wonderful, the selections were fabulous and the experience, well the experience was amazing! We will definitely stop in the shop anytime that we are in the Utica area.
