Huge parking garage right underneath it, making it super convenient. The Grande Place of Lille is about a 10 minute walk from here, making it a must to see.

However, this is the ONLY department store in North of France that carries MAC Cosmetics! NO JOKE! It's crazy to think there's not enough MAC Cosmetics running around this side of France.

However, this does provide the benefit of the entrance not being difficult to get through! Another all in one store selling all sorts of items, from your simple snacks and sweets to some clothing items and decorative pieces. Whilst I was here, they were having a slight sale (not the fake type with only big signs, but some proper price reductions), so I did manage to pick up one or two things which seemed like bargains. Can be a bit hit or miss on the bargain front, but a walk through Printemps can always be relaxing.

Very convenient when arriving from Paris in the evening, or when needing to get groceries after a late conference day. It definitely is a "superstore" grocery, so you'll find what you need and prices aren't bad. What I didn't like: have you ever walked into a Walmart in the middle-of-nowhere-America? That's how I felt walking into this Carrefour. I definitely did not feel like I was in France. The store's layout doesn't make a lot of sense, it was a little confusing to find what I needed. Also the bread from the bakery was not great. Get your bread elsewhere. Will I be back? Probably. Because now I know where it is and don't have the time/energy to find anywhere else that would make me feel like Belle from Beauty and the Beast while grocery shopping.
