I would buy the bulk of my grocery items here. I will pick up some of the produce and other items at the smaller stores if needed through the week. Didn't have a large fridge, but it was bigger than most. I honestly don't cook that often or much when I was living in Germany. You're such an abundance of restaurants and really good ones back in town. The store is one of the few in the vicinity of the center that has its own parking lot. Space is very premium in the center area. It's a good size market and possible to find pretty much whatever you need here.

Yeah, but here you can actually pay with Card, and for me, that i almost live cash-less is a blessing to have such stores nearby or at least in specific points, like the main station in the city center! I'm totally into supporting small businesses but, like i always say, better 98% of something than 100% of nothing! People in Germany should start supporting more the cash-less people! And the thing is that there are solutions like SumUp, iZettle, etc. but they just don't care. So thumbs up for copying a kind of store that exist since decades in North America!
