The reason I'm here is because it's local, convenient and I don't have to deal with a bunch of yuppies at the price chopper so that being said ....this place has fairly decent prices if you're looking for the right items. Overall I think it's probably cheaper then your local Price chopper in yuppie Ville. With the way in which prices are going for groceries I'm considering on joining a CSA. I'm going to post the hours that they're open as well as a picture of the outside because it's a little difficult to find as it situated between two other facilities the two facilities are the BP gas station and then I believe a restaurant possibly ...I think it'shey soul food restaurant if I'm not mistaken. I'm posting a photo of all these hours that they are open so review the pick and that should help. I'm usually the person you find trying to get the things before they close so that's certainly to be helpful to others as well. It's a standard all these location nothing really terribly different here than at others other than the fact that it's closer by to me then other grocery stores. Given the convenience of its location and the price I'm giving this a five stars. As an FYI bring your own shopping bags because it cost couple cents for bags and if you've already got them white bowl out the money for extras. read more

I love going to Aldi, however, I wish they all sold alcohol, but alas this one does not. Nevertheless, this one is great just like the rest.

Great location. Lots of parking. The food is quality above Thriftway. Must come to buy produce and snacks and essentials. Much cheaper than PC, HV and Sunfresh. The store is clean and well kept. Probably because its new. There are only 2 cashiers... So be patient. The clientele is what you would expect for being on Troost... Which is honest hard working people with some sass. Bring a quarter for a shopping cart... it is on the left of the entrance... You put in a quarter to retrieve a cart and get it back when youre done. Its a security system. Bring your own grocery bags... Or you can buy some large plastic ones for some change. LOTS of things for around a dollar here. LOTS of junk food treats. LOL read more

Recently discovered this Aldi - so much nicer and cleaner than the one in Waldo and the staff is SO MUCH MORE HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL!! Gosh, who knew!?!? So glad I discovered this store is just down the street from my house, it is my new go-to! read more

Not my regular location usually go to the one on 75th Wornall. Best it's one great store I love to shop. Great prices and close to home.

I like Aldi's. Good quality with a low prices. I have some favorites that I always grab here and it is a great place for stocking a pantry with canned goods. Besides groceries they have random items with some great prices. This can range from kitchen items to clothing. The produce can be a little iffy. It is good, but you want to use it pretty quick. Bananas are already ripe, perfect for recipes, but hard to eat before turning. read more

As a family of five, I used to get all my essentials at the local grocery but have started coming here more and more and notice most of what we use week to week comes from here! We've actually enjoyed the veggies and the fruit is usually good as well. There is a whole line of antibiotic free/preservative free meats as well as grass fed beef. I can't typically afford organic for most things but ALDI is helping me to afford more!! I also really like the workers here, they are always very nice. A couple of different times I've been approached in the parking lot by people looking for money or a ride, but that happens around this neighborhood and it doesn't set me back as they mostly mean well. I sometimes will give rides or let them have my cart quarter=) read more

This Aldi is their normal layout. Selection is actually often better here than the nearby Waldo location, with more special buys and selections/seasonal items. read more

The Nan bread was out (it often is). I told an employee and she went into the back and brought me 4 frozen packages. Great service!

My girlfriend I really like this Aldi. They always have a very good selection. I'm really impressed that their milk can be almost $1 cheaper than the big box competitors. And the store is always clean. Good job Aldi. Thanks! read more

It's such a shame since this is the most convenient location for me, however, I value my safety above convenience. Last night as I was loading my groceries into my trunk I was approached by a man who appeared to be homeless and/or mentally ill. He said he wasn't going to rob me, but he was hungry. I offered him a box of crackers I had just bought, but of course all he wanted was money. I told him I didn't have any cash, so he asked for change. He grabbed my cart and took the quarter out of it without asking, and I quickly grabbed a few more quarters and gave them to him when he returned. THEN he had the nerve to ask me to go to the ATM, to which I gave him a firm NO. I got in my car and sped off, upset, a little shaken and overall disappointed that I cannot go about my business without being harassed. This is not the first time I've been approached in that parking lot. It's uncomfortable and intimidating. I was afraid that if I didn't give him what he wanted that he might try to hurt me or steal from me. Security needs to be beefed up at this location. It was closing time, and the security guard inside the store should see everyone out before locking the door, especially when the last customers are women by themselves. The parking lot needs to be monitored just as much if not more as the store itself. I won't be returning to this location by myself. Ladies, beware. To the Waldo location it is. read more

I really appreciate Aldi's. The selection of items is what I like most of all. Some of the items you won't see in national chains. I'm now eating foods that I only heard about previously in life. The stores are always clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and their patrons are pleasant. I really like their selections of meats and cheeses and their freezer case items. As a bachelor, I'm always looking for ways to extend my cuisine and Aldi affords me the opportunity to do so. Eating better and cheaper than I ever have in life. read more
