I'm sorry to say I really hate it. You don't have enough undercover spacing as it is let alone putting a car wash in there to take up some of the parks that are much needed. I parked in a spot and was asked to move because it was reserved for the car wash and I was so angry because I couldn't find a park any where else undercover. The park wasn't well signed to say it was reserved. Why can't it be outside? Other than this there isn't much more that I don't agree with I'm happy with the variety of shops and the size of the food court is great.

I have to agree with a few of the reviewers: the food here is cheap and excellent, and you'll end…read moreup buying stuff you don't "need" but you won't regret it. However, Ikea has bulked up its healthy food options in what is basically a massive cafeteria covering the entire top floor. And despite there being literally hundreds of seats here, finding a spot to sit and eat can be tough. I wouldn't be surprised if people came here for the food alone. As you can imagine, the place is teeming with screaming babies, kids running around in different directions, and parents looking harried. These can be avoided by staying out of flooded areas, however. The way the store is set up - a path of yellow tape - somehow makes you feel like you're walking along the yellow brick road. It also makes it difficult and maze-like if you want to leave before you've walked the whole path. (You can't cut back to the beginning either because of the way the escalators are set up.) Various labels and posters are graffitied by customers, as you get a pencil and notepad on the way in to write down the serial number for warehouse-stored items. It's the same deal with the graffiti inside the toilets. There's some pretty funny graffiti here, even some intelligent stuff. Judging by the handwriting, a child of about 8 years old in one of the bathroom stalls started a list for people to join the fight against Voldemort's army. I think I was signature number 14. On the bathroom front, I don't think I've ever seen so many stalls in one place. No queuing here. But of course Ikea is all about doing it on a large scale. As I've come to expect, I came back with a few things I didn't need. Or rather, things I didn't think I needed. It turns out my dog is obsessed with the moose hand puppet (around $2-$3) to the exclusion of all her other toys. As long as she doesn't bite my hand off, you'd have to say that's a good buy.

This place sells London Rebel shoes - quite nice styles and surprisingly affordable - as well as relevant fashion styles and some really standout jewellery pieces and accessories. You pretty much have your pick of styles here; if you need festival fashions, just ask to see their playsuits and shorts; if you want a cute weekend outfit, take your pick of the patterned dresses. When I last checked them out they only had the normal flat mushrooms you can get anywhere plus Swiss browns. They do have some of the harder to get potatoes like Kipfler and Dutch Creams, plus a pretty cool range of packaged products. The first things that caught my eye was a crocheted rose-shaped brooch with quite a few other similar ones to keep it company. They also had one of the very lovely dresses that is so identifiable as one of Rachel Burke's I Make My Day projects, which is surrounded by a mountain of handmade things to choose from like tin earrings and very flamboyant floral hairbands that are just gorgeous. I was most impressed with earrings that were fashioned out of origami designs. Some of the things in here are so original and it's so nice to see support for local crafters. Markets are often exhausting, subject to the elements, and aren't a very reliable way to get the money coming in if you're selling your goods in this fashion. The internet is a great way to get your stuff out there, but still, she went one further and opened a store- for the good of everyone! For her, for the people who rent space in her store, for the person who happens to pop in for a look and take away something local and unique. For the interested artist or craftsperson- the way the rent system works at Handmade High Street works is that there are small 'cubes' (shelving space) that are $20 per month. If you do larger scale work, clothing for example, and you have a rack that you'd like to have in store, it might cost you around $200 per month. The rental price is subject to how big and how much of the work there is, and whereabouts you want it placed in the store. There's some great stuff there too. The beads by Patti Pennisi made me want for the ocean, the glass work of Cairo Made That was gorgeous, and I couldn't help but want to take home some scented soy wax melts by Lisa Macnab.
