The right people weren't there that day so couldn't find it. Asked Chris about it, he checked with the person and found it. Best part was he shipped it out to us. Our biggest thing that people tell us when we talk about price is, "Oh, we could not spend that." We have noticed that we seem to get sick a lot less and our health is better. Not were they only small but about 1/3 of the ear was not even developed to eat. This gave me only about 5 to 6 inches of corn on each ear. Out of the two dozen ears only about 6 were descent. When I took them back the next day they said they were all like that the previous day and she didnt want to give me an exchange. She stood there and argued with me with a smile on her face like I should be grateful. After I sitting she finally said she guess she would exchange them but she clearly wasn't happy about it. If the crop was sub-par they should have been honest enough to let people know i stead of being surprised when they get home. Instead of being given the opportunity to make an informed decision I was made to feel very small the way she talked to me like I should know better. I am a farmer and I would have been embarrassed to sell produce like this without speaking up.

Often when you buy a dozen, they'll put a "baker's dozen" (13) in the bag. To butter it, generously butter a piece of bread, put corn cob holders in the ends of the cob and roll the corn in the butter. This technique gets more butter on the cob than trying to butter the cob of corn with a knife. I frequently make one of my favorite soups, potato corn cheese chowder. I think I provided a copy of the recipe to Gaeddert for their cookbook. In addition to corn, the farm stands have other produce. This summer I had some juicy, delicious peaches.
