Generally this is an ok branch of Aldi. Although I wouldn't rely on being able to do my weekly shopping here, there are bargains which make it worth a visit.
There is plenty of parking outside. The staff are friendly and efficient, and always quick to open up another till if the queues begin to build.
Like all Aldi's, it's a matter of trial and error to find the products that you will want to buy again. Rather like the old nursery rhyme, when it's good, it's very very good but when it's bad it's very horrid indeed. Most drinks seem ok, ditto biscuits and chocolate (although Lidl's chocolate is better), fruit and veg can be ok if you are going to use them quickly, and there are some rather nice tubs of fruit in juice. Beware of the rather scary iced latte
There is plenty of space behind the tills to pack at your leisure. read more
