A gem on the coast of Suffolk. Unchanged through the millenia except for a couple of more modern cafes and restaurants.
Take a stroll along the seafront to the outlets for freshly caught fish etc, by the owners, at reasonable prices. As one states ' fresh fish, the only fresher is still swimming'.
Plenty of good hostelries serving good real ales and Suffolk cyder ( no the spelling is correct).
You must sample the fish and chips from a couple of take outs in the town. I have qyped, seperately, for these two outlets. Warning, if you want to try these take-aways, start queueing before the shops open. After 20 minutes the queues are at least 30 yards long which says it all. read more
