It's something I value much more now in my life but you live and you learn. Its been some time, years, since I brought my old Dodge here for transmission work. But there are only two kinds experiences that stick out as unforgettable. When everything is great and goes right and when when everything goes bad and is abysmal. Well Cottoman certainly isn't great and they're expensive to boot. So if you want to drive a car out of a garage and have it towed back, then Cotton is for you.

I brought it to Chris for a second opinion, and he drove the van around with me and showed that it wasn't the transmission but actually just the spark plugs going bad on a couple of cylinders. He referred me to a nearby mechanic and that fixed the issue right away! When the same minivan had other issues come up (cause there's always something wrong with Chrysler minivans) I had no hesitation about sending to Chris to look it over and tell me what was wrong with it. Having worked in the industry a little I know the buzzwords and how some places make a problem seem worse than it is but it's nice to find place where honesty takes precedence over money.

My vehicle was towed to the facility. Within hours of receipt, Mr. Pat contacted me and gave me all of the details of the inspection. A complete rebuild was suggested. Unfortunately, based on cost of repairs, which was very reasonable, and age of vehicle, I opted not to have the rebuild done. Even though I did not have work done, I sincerely appreciated Mr. Pat's experienced explanation and professional counsel regarding all options. There was no 'hard sell' or pressure to have the repairs made at his shop. He gave me options and worked with me. All of Mr. Pat's valuable assistance and honesty indicated to me that Mr. Pat treats his potential customers with respect and concern. Precision Transmission Exchange is a business run with integrity and fairness. If my next vehicle ever has a transmission issue, you'd better believe that I'm calling Mr. Pat and Precision Transmission Exchange. Thanks, Joe D.

Just by coincidence it was some type of muffler issue rattling and making the noise. He called me up said he would fix it for me at no charge. Just added a few washers and tighten it down for me.My point is this is why this place is so recommended by everybody . Most mechanics would've sent me to a muffler shop and been done with me. This is a perfect model of how a business owner should run his business to keep his reputation. I now understand why whoever I asked about a transmission flush this place was always recommended
