They carry some of the best brands in the industry for a great price. The last time I was in I was looking for cracked corn for the deer that roam the back woods of the yard. I found exactly what I was looking for and they carried a 30 pound bag for $6. That's not a bad price at all for cracked corn. In our 30 minutes in the store we were asked 3 times if we needed help with anything. Even though we did not need help I did appreciate them asking. Overall just a really good store that carries some good quality products. No cheap off brands sold here.

THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!…read more We want to give a "five star shout-out" to Greg and Courtney Hackensmith of Austin Builders Supply for their prompt, expert work done on our older (22 yrs) Hunter Douglas shades today. Ordered a door and trim months well in advance to avoid problems on the day of construction. My…read morecontractor went to pick up my order and it was missing pieces of trim in what appears someone sold piece out of my ordered trim pack and never had the respect to replace it. Someone else's problem is now my problem. A one day project is now a two day project which has disrupted a very tight schedule. Asked for some monetary return for this inconvenience and I got laughed at. Steve doesn't value your time, money or business. Save yourself the headache, go elsewhere.

I highly recommend this merchant. This store (located behind an auto body repair shop) is a superb…read moreresource for home brewers and wine makers in southeast MN. They stock a nice selection of beer and wine kits, and the misc. equipment that you'll need to make them, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You'll be hard pressed to find better prices anywhere - online our otherwise. As in all hobbies (okay, obsessions) there is probably be something that you eventually will want that won't be there, but the basics are well covered. Advanced brewers may have difficulty finding the precise grain/hop/yeast combinations for crafting specific beer recipes, but planning ahead should alleviate that problem as the shop is generally happy to order whatever you need. The staff are pleasant helpful, and reasonably knowledgeable about basic brewing/wine making. Beyond that you'll have to do some homework and come armed with (a thirst for - couldn't resist) knowledge.
