Incredibly Disappointed…read more Our family made reservations well in advance for this past weekend in celebration of my Grandmother turning 101. So many family members came together (from multiple states away) for this momentous occasion (around 65 adults/young children). Approximately around 45 minutes after arrival, a male staff member came over seemly very displeased to advise that they only had one waitress on staff for the entire bar + restaurant (as the rest of the staff was on vacation due to Weddings). It was decided that we would all immediately sit so orders could be taken. Some family members even attempting to be helpful and writing the entire tables orders down for the waitress. A couple of family members attempted to assist the waitress and helped to bring waters to the tables. While it was somewhat understandable that food would take some time for a large party like ours, we had several having to ask about their orders after a couple hours, with 8 leaving having never received their food. We started around 430pm and leaving around 9pm. I truly felt for our waitress (Judy R?) as we understand this is not a reflection upon her but a very HUGE issue with management. As we were wrapping up there was yet another dinner party arriving - sad to have to forewarn for disappointment. "People don't leave bad jobs; they leave because of bad bosses, poor management and a lack of appreciation for their worth."

Plus I love food, so I had to do it. Just be advised that you do have to go through a security gate and you will have to explain what you're there for so if that's not your jam, (food pun intended) maybe skip this one.

I have been a quality customer since 2018. I only missed one payment when I was at my winter home…read morein Florida, and forgot. I just rented a dumpster for about $450.00. I have PLENTY of money in my back account. I just called to find out why they didn't pick up my trash today. "We've suspended the account for non-payment". Well, I'm SO SORRY my dad died! I'm SO SORRY that my life is a little chaotic right now. "We all have struggles in life." Perhaps a call would have been nice!?!?!?!?!?!?! "We sent you a reminder email.". Very small- town mentality, SO lazy lazy lazy that they can't even pick up the phone to provide a courtesy call to someone who regularly pays promptly. I would have even accepted a text message!!!!!! They use a totally crappy web service for payments. I immediately went on to pay, because like I said, I have PLENTY in my bank account and PLENTY of cash on hand. There was NO WHERE to see when the payment was actually due. I found the email from 3/31/2025. "NET 30 DAYS". DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT NET 30 DAYS MEANS????? Maybe you could actually provide a DUE DATE. Before today I would have actually given them a decent rating, but if you go with Thompsons, just know you will be dealing with a bunch of small-town bumpkins who don't understand the basics of business (which is what I went to COLLEGE for - you know, ACTUAL education and training). If you want professional, educated, quality customer service and business portals for payments and understanding your bills, and WHEN THEY ARE DUE, use a different company. Their office staff sounds like a couple of grannies from the family that are just helping out and don't really understand professional business, and certainly didn't go to college for business. They do not care that they are using an archaic payment system, and Julie actually invited me to post this negative review. That tells you everything you need to know.

Awesome service, never miss a pick up, and always on time. We love Thompson Sanitation!read more
