My husband and I loved our stay at Albergo le Terme. It's run by a local family since the 1970s, and we got to meet 3 generations. You feel love and care everywhere here, from the comfort of rooms, the decor, the food, to the every detail of the grounds and the service. It's amazing that this building was the residence of Pope Pius II in the 15th century. We had such a good time here, didn't want to leave. And the tiny village is beautiful, we walked in the mornings and in the evenings, and the views of the Tuscan valley below are breathtaking. Oh, and the view from our room (221) was incredible (it's of the old belltower and the ancient hot springs baths, I couldn't stop taking photos). Not too many American tourists here, which felt very special. Highly recommend this gem of a place! Extra shout out to Laura, Diego and Chiara, and Patrick at front desk! read more
