THE BIG: Located right outside of the Templo Exploratorio in Leon. Super tiny shop with a hosts of different flavor drinks.
THE BLACK AND WHITE: The drink they serve here is the traditional drink of Leon. That grabbed my eye and attention... After I explored the cathedral haha. I think abarill means barrel in Spanish but nonetheless fitting because there were barrels everywhere filled with water.
I didn't know what to get so I asked the owners what was good. They were super nice and recommended the Brazilian fruit flavor (I forgot the name).
The process was simple, they poured the fruit syrup in, then they added water from the barrel. When they presented it to me. I was about to drink it, but the owner said to wait for the baking soda to be poured in. Then you chug it! Once he poured the baking soda in. It started foaming and I immediately started chugging. I'm a horrible chugger (only finished half) but it was delicious nonetheless.
THE FINAL BAMBOO: I got a small cup which was about 10 pesos! It was a cool experience and was refreshing on the hot day. read more
