I almost passed this hidden GEM but it was definitely POPPIN from the outside view...I had to stop and see what the commotion was. Upon entering the parking lot, which had plenty of parking..I asked a worker who was moving cones if this was a thrift store and he said Yes ma'am. I knew it was going to be a good encounter. The store is very clean and organized. After looking through the clothing bins , which are sold by weight at $1.50 per pound, I went back to the housewares section and that's when I saw it!!! I found a Breville fountain plus juicer for a whopping $3!! SCORE!!! Now that's what I call SWEET DEAL!! Did you juice today?

Madison seems to have 3 types of thrift stores. Goodwill, St Vinnies, and those run by churches…read moreand/or church ladies. This is the latter type, and they all seem to be very similar (Bethesda, Agrace, etc). Less crowds, traffic, anxiety, and clutter than Goodwill and St Vinnies, but also less selection. Check back regularly and you will find some treasures. For the most part the prices are fair. If I specifically need something, I start with Goodwill, because I have the best chance of browsing. But I dont always feel like stopping in Goodwill just to browse. Versus it can be very peaceful to stop in Boomerangs, or similar. I've probably been there a dozen times since they opened, and bought something 3 of the times. They have furniture, which not all thrift stores carry. The staff has always been helpful.

They have helpful and kind staff and even measuring tapes in strategic spots to help you out, so strap on that Michael Kors handbag and get ready to SPEND! Most of this isn't my personal style but I didn't leave without a few heavenly smelling candles and a sassy greeting card. Perfect place to find a nice gift for the lady in your life who needs a "wine o'clock" sign or a "chop it like it's hot" tea towel. NGL, was tempted by that last one.
